I recently purchased a Marshall MG100DFX. After blowing two amps in a week, I decided to quit messing around with other brands. The most recent amp to blow was a 400 watt tube amp (not a Marshall). I thought this amp with its tube warmth, would be very expensive to replace. I could not have been more wrong. My Marshall MG100DFX far exceeds the sound and quality of the tube amp i had just destroyed. This is an amazing piece of equipment. The range of sounds is unbelievable. I never realized how hot my 82 Dean was. The sustain and Hendrix type feedback are unbelievable for just a 100 watt amp. Why would anyone buy anything but a Marshall!!!!

Straight up, Amazing Amp

People tell me that to buy a Marshall is to "pay for the name," I say they are jealous because their amp is not as good. Trust me, it's more than worth the money. I have never heard a better distortion from any amp, and the clean is more than tube-worthy. The included effects are a bonus, but the focus here is tone, and you get a lot of it. Great for someone with a lot of effects pedals. An amazing amp, through and through!

Excellent Amp for Cheap

This amp is truly one-of-a-kind. I was a bit hesitant about putting down $500 for a solid state amp that I rarely hear anyone talk about, but it's actually a great amp. I use an Epiphone Slash Signature Les Paul guitar, so naturally combining a Les Paul and a Marshall was a match made in Heaven. I can make my guitar scream, and I get almost the EXACT tone Slash has on "Sweet Child O' Mine". If you are looking at getting a good practice amp or even a touring amp, this is it. Only problem is the effects are a bit weak. However, that's not the reason I bought the amp. It's a great, versatile amp.

Not enough for the money

This is a good amp, I play it through my half-stack and it can handle the push. I don't think it was worth the money however. For only a little more you can get a full half stack and have the option of upgrading to a full-stack eventually. Quality and effects are great.
