The MC412's 200 Watts of power, combined with the same flexible Mono/Stereo switching of the 1960 cabinets, means it will handle any Marshall guitar head with ease. Marshall recommends using 4 Ohms for getting full power out of the MG and AVT heads, while the 16 Ohms setting is preferable for use with Marshall valve heads.

This cabinet is very versatile. And really, it does its job very well, isn't that all that matters? It puts out what your head puts in and I'm happy to hear that. Over all I'm very happy with the sound and quality. If you need a nice cabinet for a great price this is it.

This cab really can handle any head! I've played anything from Slayer/Metallica to Rancid/Green Day to SRV/Hendrix and through all different heads. It all comes through nice and powerful, warm, and clear! At It's price, you can't go wrong. It stacks up to any other cab I can find. This is the best value I have ever seen in my years as a musician!
