Good Cabinet For the Money!!

I run a 2005 Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100 watt head through this cabinet (with the bottom switch engaged) and there are no issues at all with this cabinet. I puch the cabinet fairly hard as I am in a two guitar band....friendly volume war each time we play and the cabinet has not sounded as if anything is loose, crappy or inferior. Now of course, it is not a Dave Mustaine Signature Marshall cabinet, but it did not cost 1200 either!!! The cabinet is a very good product for what I am doing, playing for drunk people in a bar. The only thing I may do at some point is to load better speakers in it.

Perfect Little Cab

I've had this cabinet less then a week and I already love it. Its sounds great even at high volumes, and believe me it will handle those loud volumes with out adding any distortion. I'm playing a Framus Cobra head through it, so I am mostly judging this cabinet for high gain sounds. The hardest thing for me to find in a speaker cab is articulation in the low mids, and this cab defiantly excels at that. The bass and low mids are very controlled and clear which is important for high gain riffin'. The Thing I love most about the cabinet is the ease of mobility. It only weighs 51 pounds so carrying it back and forth from practice, and the studio is not nearly as much of a hassle as my 4x12. In fact, its not a hassle at all. Over all I give this cab a 5, simply because it has all the features I was looking for in a speaker cabinet, and it sound amazing. I truly believe that if you know how to operate your equipment properly, then you should have no problem getting a great sound out of this cab.

Marshall MC212 130W 2x12 Guitar Extension Cabinet

I am very happy with this cabinet. I play out very often and have not had any trouble with it at all. I play my Marshall 1970 Super Lead 100watt thru it and it cuts thru and sounds great. I have not had any noise or loose parts issues at all. Nice bottom and highs. For the money I paid, I am very happy. When I stack it on my 4x12 and use both cabs, it is awesome. So far I have not had to tighten any screws or had any muddled or flat tones. The right amp sometimes cures all......I know it is not constructed with the same high standards as the 1936 cab, but it is lightweight, fits in my Nissan Sentra, and keeps up with my friends 1978 JMP Master Lead Half Stack or his Vintage Modern, and even his 1984 JCM 100watt Lead Combo with no problem. For Value I give it 5 Stars....

You can put a Marshall logo on a cardboard box, paint it black, and sell a million. It's lightweight, has cheapie speakers and parts, no skid trays, no casters, no white piping, etc. It's a stripped-down Marshall cab. I tried using it a few times live with my JVM. After the last rehearsal I ran home for my 4x12. This is blurry and unfocused, dull top-end, lots of broad undefined lows. You get what you pay for.
Eventually I upgraded to a 1939 and ain't looking back. Great for beginners and those sporting MGs, but eventually you'll want to get something better. The 1939 is much different than this, MDF or not.

I play metal and this cab has held up great at the higher volumes in clubs and on larger stages. It can keep up with my friend's Marshall half stack. The only thing that I might possibly change are the speakers. This is great if you don't have space for a half stack.
