JVM410H Tube Amp Head
In a nutshell, the Marshall all-valve, 4-channel JVM410H 100-watt tube head is the most versatile Marshall amplifier ever made. It also boasts more gain than any other Marshall guitar amp head to date-and that's really saying something.
Each of its 4 channels-Clean, Crunch, OD1 & OD2-are not only completely independent of each other, they all boast 3 modes, all 12 of which are footswitchable and feature their own unique gain structure. It makes the JVM 4-channel effectively 12 Marshalls in one.
The JVM410H amp head has studio-quality digital reverb with a level control for each channel. This is also footswitchable, as are the amp's two Master Volume controls and the Series/Parallel effects loop. Resonance and Presence are equipped with master controls.
Even though the head and combo both house 28 controls and 8 LED switches on their front panels, they're incredibly simple to understand because of the extremely logical layout. Each of the 4 channels has the usual suspects when it comes to control-Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble & Gain-accounting for 20 of the 28 controls right away. Take away the 4 reverb controls and you're only left with 4 Master controls-2 Master Volumes plus Resonance & Presence.
Add to this an ingenious footswitch (UK patent pending) and the fact all the amplifier's switching (channel/modes, Reverb, Master Volume selection, FX loop) can be done via MIDI and you're looking at an incredibly flexible amp! The 6-way footswitch boasts 7 LEDs and memory, plus it connects to the amp via a regular guitar cable.
From the cleanest clean to the filthiest distortion ever found in a Marshall and all points in-between, the JVM410H all-valve guitar amp head will give you whatever tone you need right when you need it.

The JVM410H is easily the greatest amp I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I have been playing guitar for twelve years now, in a band for ten. All the guys use Marshalls, and I was the only one who didn't have one. So, I went online and bought this one without reading reviews or anything. I figured, "Well, everyone else's Marshall's are really good, so this one must be too." After I got this (And the 1960A Cab), every other person in the band bought one. It is simply incomparable to any other amp out there. Marshall has outdone themselves.

This amp is worth every dollar, with its 3 modes in each of the four channels, it is like having 12 different gain types. I have been touring with this rig for the past month, and not once has it let me down. My only qualm is that the footswitch is a little hard to set up to your presets. From a brilliant clean sound, to a searing high gain, the tonal capacities are amazing. This will be my amp for a long, long time.

let me just say one thing that i've yet to read about this amp that i've found out after using it; that is that the footswitch can be programmed to A:)CHANGE channels, master volumes, FX loops, or reverb OR it can B:) switch between presets that you make in programming mode. i find the presets to be great because you dont have to hit the button 3 times to get to red mode on OD1. also the gain on this thing is really incredible. Rediculous, actually. on my OD2 channel my gain is just over half way. Overall this amp is really a great amp if you're looking for a professional amplifier with all the bells and whistles.

Ive been recently playing through a jcm and find it to be not so heavy for me. It would always feel like it was lacking stuff, granted the amp has been through so bad experiences, but i've always felt like it should have had more. I played through my friends jvm the other with a fender telecaster and it blew me away. I was astonished at the tone I received from it. it is everything ive ever wanted. A total shock from a marshall. Im saving up now everyday so I can afford this stack! it is well worth it!
