A rock standard, now with impedance switching! |
Get more punch and crunch with this Marshall full stack featuring a JVM410H Tube Amp Head with a 1960AV/1960BV Full Stack.
JVM410H Tube Amp Head
In a nutshell, the Marshall all-valve, 4-channel JVM410H 100-Watt tube head is the most versatile Marshall amplifier ever made. It also boasts more gain than any other Marshall to date-and that's really saying something!
Each of its 4 channels Clean, Crunch, OD1 & OD2 are not only completely independent of each other, they all boast 3 Modes, all 12 of which are footswitchable and feature their own unique gain structure. It makes the JVM 4-channel effectively 12 Marshalls in one!
The JVM410H amp head has studio-quality digital reverb with a level control for each channel. This is also footswitchable, as are the amp's two Master Volume controls and the Series/Parallel effects loop. Resonance and Presence are equipped with master controls.
Even though the head and combo both house 28 controls and 8 LED switches on their front panels, they're incredibly simple to understand because of the extremely logical layout. Each of the 4 channels has the usual suspects when it comes to controls Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble & Gain-accounting for 20 of the 28 controls right away. Take away the 4 reverb controls and you're only left with 4 Master controls-2 Master Volumes plus Resonance & Presence.
Add to this an ingenious footswitch (UK patent pending) and the fact all the amp's switching (channel/modes, Reverb, Master Volume selection, FX loop) can be done via MIDI and you're looking at an incredibly flexible amp! The 6-way footswitch boasts 7 LEDs and memory, plus it connects to the amp via a regular guitar cable.
From the cleanest clean to the filthiest distortion ever found in a Marshall and all points in-between, the JVM410H all-valve amp head will give you whatever tone you need right when you need it.JVM410H Tube Amp Head

I started playing electric in Brasil in the 1960s and at the time the Beatles were huge and I wanted to sound like them. But, in Brasil Bossa Nova and latin sounds were the bread and butter of a snotty nosed corner musician. I read and purchased magazines like an addict over the years and dreamed of one day owning this amp or similar amp. I was on tour in United States and found one for sale in a magazine for 2,000. I raced over and purchased it. Oh I am in heaven. I use the programmable foot controls to switch between several gates and filters I have built myself from parts. I love the controls and how they are positively wired. I mean, you turn up and it goes up! Like it should. When playing and the audience is getting into your music you know when they need more. I have dreamed of owning an amp like this since before they invented it. If you feel like making your guitar one with the mood, this Marshall will do it. Thank you.

Best amp I have ever used!!

I got this amp last year and I have not been able to stop playing it. I play a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster and a Gibson Les Paul through it on a regular basis and am blown away every time by the amazing sound quality and power this amp packs. The four channels are almost too much, but they all sound great. The clean is great for blues, country, and Jazz, while crunch, OD1, and OD2 are all perfect for vintage fuzz, classic rock, and hard rock. This amp isn't cheap but you get what you pay for when it comes to tonality and overall quality. With a Marshall you want the best and this is virtually 4 of Marshalls greatest hits all in one.

After playing the crappy MG100HDFX that Marshall produced, I was in serious doubt that I would ever enjoy a Marshall amp again. However, the JVM410H is probably the greatest, most versatile Marshall amp ever produced. And for all of you out there who say, "No, VINTAGE Marshalls are WAAAY better!" Well, that's a lie. There has never been a better Marshall amp created, not even a vintage. The triple setting for each channel allows the user to dial in about any tone on the planet, the cleans are shimmering and nice, the medium-gain settings can produce a very Slash-like tone, and the high-gain Uber distortion kicks behind. Oh, and finally we have a programmable footswitch! I love this amp, and one day, when I have the cash, I'll buy it. You should too.

I have wanted a Marshall amp for years. Well, I have one now and the head in this package is different than any I have ever seen or played thru. There is alot of diversity with this one. The four channels all with three settings are great. Many variations of sound enable me to color my collection of guitars to my desired tone. I have not explored the footswitch completely yet. This footswitch is supposed to be able to remember settings and plug into another head of this type. COOL! Ibanez sounds great thru this amp. Fender tele sounds great, too. The clean tones sound better than I ever remember from a Marshall. Michael Kelly guitars sound just amazing thru this amp. When purchasing this amp, I was looking for diversity. I found that for sure! The price is what it is, and the whole package is what it is, too. I am glad I put a pry bar in my wallet and bought this package. The neighbors have not said anything, so I guess no complaints. They must like Marshall also. Spendy as it is, You get what you pay for. Marshall has helped me to sound better than ever. You can too!! Get one if you can. Rock on with Marshall!!!
