This cabinet matches up with and delivers exactly what you expect from the vintage handwire 2061s. The compactness of the units make it a very desirable to move around and take along with you. The cab looks pretty nice as well. My only thing is I wish they'd make an extension version to place under this cabinet; so you could get a 2061 stack for both more sound, ease of access to amp knobs, bringing speaker to your ear level, and finally for pure image that people expect.

I have recently purchased a Fender Hot-Rod DeVille 410; I play my SRV Strat through it--awesome! I desired a little more bottom out of that amp so I scoured the cabs; I kept eyeing this little gem here. As one can see, the ad info is very little; two 12" speakers...designed for 2061 20-watt head"..yeah. I gambled and ordered it. My thought was, "A high price for 2 speakers!"

When the cab showed up, I was very delighted to read, "Handwired" on the box. Construction-wise, it's like the 1960AHW that goes with the handwired Plexi. Excellent construction, very neatly done..about 2' square in size. I discovered that it has 8-Ohm wiring, so I plugged into the DeVille with the supplied unshielded cable.

The cabinet has two 30-Watt Celestion G30's-what a sound! The best way to describe it: pure, clean tone and has the head room to handle the DeVille. The cab doesn't have casters, but can be managed by hand. I would recommend this cab for players who are looking for supplemental tone from a combo amp or an amp head up to 50 watts; it will work well in a small to medium-sized venue. Buy this one!

WOW, I have had a 1960A cab, this is as close as you get without the bulk. I can carry the head in one hand and the cab in the other. Very compact and light yet kicks A**. Nothing short of AWESOME~!
