The Marshall 1960TV Cabinet has an angled front; 4 - 12" Greenback speakers; and a warmer, thicker sound than the 1960A. This 100W, mono, 16-ohm cabinet is 3 inches taller than a standard 1960A 4x12 cabinet which results in well defined mid range and a lowered resonant frequency for more prominent lows. The 25W Greenbacks are less in your face than the 75W Celestions in the 1960A. Although not a reissue - it was never offered in the past - this cab recreates the classic look and tones of yesteryear.

I paired with my vintage modern 2266 head and it sounds great. the celestion green backs rely nail that vintage blues rock sound (Page Clapton Beck) ect. Great cabinet.

I bought this cab a year ago and have gigged this cab a considerable amount. I have ran 5150's, valveking's and mesa heads through the cab and it sounded great with all of them. The music that I play is metal and the cab has a great low end response. I highly recommend this cab to anyone.

I got this cab used. And I could not be happier. It is very warm and dark sounding, with nice glistening highs...if you push it, it breaks up very well and delivers an excellent classic rock punch, I play hardcore punk with it! It's huge, and very pretty, and daunting to take on tour! haha... My only complaint is that the handles on the sides seem somewhat flimsy, plastic....but I changed those out with heavy duty ones and the cab is PERFECT.

Excellent cab, sounds great, looks great...Amazing Buy.

Before I purchased this from a local store, I did alot of research. I was sceptical about the 100W only, but everyone I talked to raved about the Greenbacks. When I first hooked the 1960 TV up to my rig, I was blown away, maybe even lost some hearing! Holy crap, this thing's a beast!

My Les Paul has an incredible low end punch through the 1960 TV. The tonal range is phenomenal. MY 61 RI SG also sounds great, the 1960 TV sounds awesome whether clean or at full roar.

What I like best about the 1960 TV is it allows different characteristics of different guitars to be heard. This is the first cab I've owned and I'm still blown away by the monster tone.

Hook it up with good guitars and tube amps, be prepared to have several compliments regarding the quality of your tone.

I own too many new, and vintage amps, and more speaker cabs than I care to admit to! This one is the Best Marshall cab made, esp. if you are after that classic fat Marshall distortion. The added size of this cab allows for a wider, bolder bass response. Blues leads become "Santana-esk". If you covet the classic Marshall sound, this is your cabinet.
