For sometime now I have spent more money in low cost speaker cabs and they always sound just decent to sick. After adding up all the money I had spent on cheap B-52 AT's, cheaper Marshalls, and other inferior cabs it dawned on me. Instead of waisting my money trying to save a dollar, I in fact had lost money by now liking the cabs. A month ago I look at a JCM2000 SL on top of a 1960A cab. When I pluged the guitar chord in the amp head, the first bar chord I hit said everything. I couldn't believe what I had been missing using all these other cabs. Buying a Carvin Custion Guitar, a nice head, then pluging it into a cheap guitar cab. That is like going to a concert and sitting behind the band with no speakers pointed your direction. Hey, take the plunge and get a good cab such as this one. You will not be sorry.

If you play Rock music...and like the classic sound of the Regular 1960 Marshall cabs, you're gonna LOVE this cabinet. I just got it, and it sounds great coupled with my DSL100. You can hear each individual note ring through clearly without getting muddied-up, and the amazing tone stays true even at extreme volume!! DEFINATELY worth the couple hundred extra bucks. Try one out before you buy...I'm sure you'll agree.

The Marshall 1960AV is the best cabinet I've ever played through. I use a Marshall DSL 50 with it and I use the rig for recording and practice. The quality of construction is absolutely excellent and it nails the classic Marshall tones. I couldn't be more pleased with it!

I'm not one who typically has the urge to write a review, but after playing through this cab - I had to say something. I had been looking to add a cab to my Marshall AVT275 combo (as a stop-gap toward my goal of a TSL100/1960 half-stack). I was already considering the 1960AV, in part because of the impedance mono/stereo switching feature (which I required). This cab is awesome! Although I can't wait to buy the TSL100 head, there is certainly no hurry now because the AVT275/1960AV config sounds truly amazing - and at any volume. It's like I upgraded all my guitars!

I own too many amps and speaker cabs...both new and vintage. This is my second favorite speaker cab, after the Marshall TV. It has that great Marshall distortion, but is a bit clearer and tighter than the Marshall TV Cab. If you want that classic Marshall distortion, but want it a bit tighter and clearer sounding, this is your cabinet.
