Have single coil pickup noise ?

Is the noise from your single coil pickups getting you down? No problem for this product. Just place it at the end of your effects, turn the wheel to 9 o'clock, the noise band cut to Hiss and then smile. Case closed.

Having the Gate switch on Hiss does cut some noise (different types as is stated in the Manual) but having it set to "Full" and then adjusting the Trigger Level pot properly cuts 98% of all noise on my rig. It eats white noise, amp hiss, pedal hiss and PUP feedback IF you place it in the amps loop. The Smart Gate does not effect tone or sustain either if you adjust it properly. So provided you put this pedal in the amps Loop and set it properly it works just great. It's as good as the ISP Decimator and cheaper.

Dudes, I am so glad I got this thing. Because at stage volumes my amp makes this God awefull noise and feed back but when ever I stop this thing basiclly tells my rig SHUT UP!!! Oh and I figured out what the high trigger switch does, it makes the gate open quicker and stay open longer.

Stick with the Boss NS-2

I am sorry I tried to make this thing work but it is nothing like a Boss NS-2 and even the Line6 Noise Gate. I feel it does not work well for what it is supposed to do, KILL NOISE! IT KILLS TONE! I like the Boss NS-2 better so I sold my MRX M-135 and bought a Boss NS-2! The MRX is not user friendly, I tried there settings in the manual even my own settings and to no avail it just SUCKS!

this works really well i use a peavey triple xxx head and a basson cab and it works wonders no insain hissing or feedback the holy thing i would suggest is getting a adaptor right away cuz these things seem to eat batteries to me
