The Line 6 ToneCore Verbzilla reverb effect pedal creates luscious, studio-grade algorithms- from classic guitar amp-style spring reverb to dreamy, high-end studio favorites. Tone, Mix, Decay, and Time controls help you find the exact effect you want, and the Trails on/off switch allows the ToneCore reverb to decay or cut off once you hit bypass. The ToneCore Verbzilla has a huge array of reverb models including '63 Spring, Spring, Plate, Room, Hall, Chamber, Ducking, Octo (a Line 6 exclusive), Cave, Tile, and Echo.

ToneCore guitar pedals consist of a ToneDock base-in stereo or mono-and interchangeable effects modules that snap in and out, allowing you to change effects without rearranging your pedalboard. The ToneDock is powered by a 9V battery or optional DC-1 adapter.

This was a long time coming for me. I have owned 3 reverb pedals before this one, I'd used it before and was impressed with the sounds. Though it did seem a little gimmicky, this is not the case. Its easy to get a nice subtle effect too. Its built well, easy to use, and sounds great. I think it has a slightly high price tag, its bulky and elaborate. Not sure about the switchable module idea either... a little pointless on a stomp imostomp

I got this pedal a few months ago and have enjoyed all that it has to offer. I'm not one to complain to whether a reverb sounds digital or like a Fender Spring, so it may sound pretty digital to those who are picky about that. The octo setting sounded very cool and adds a lot of atmosphere to your guitar. The cave setting is really deep, and I've found that's my favorite preset on this pedal. The set-up I use most often is a Fender TC-90 through a Fender Super Six Reverb. The reverb tank on the super had been removed by the previous owner and I havn't gotten around to replacing it, so this pedal and the EHX Holy Grail Plus were my reverbs. I did really enjoy the trails switch, which made transitions a lot more natural. However, the trails switch does add a bass boost to your signal, but that's nothing too big. My real problem is that the pedal stopped working very suddenly. When the mix knob is clocked out, there is no signal. When the mix knob is lessened below 10, my signal is there, but dry(no reverb). The pedal turns on, but there is no effect. I've read through the Line6 forum and it seems that other people are having the same exact problem. So, there must be something wrong with the pedal. I wouldn't say this pedal is worth what Line 6 is asking, but it definitely has a lot to offer and play around with. I might even just grab it's clone, the Behringer Reverb Machine, and see how long that one lasts. But if you have the cash and are willing to take the risk of it breaking, then you'll enjoy the pedal for however long it lasts.

After much research and debate between this and the BOSS RV-5, I went with Verbzilla cause the sound clips are amazing....big disappointment... I couldn't get a good reverb sound out of this pedal at all! They all sounded way too digital! The controls were too sensitive. I ended up returning it for the BOSS RV-5 which sounds MUCH better! Don't waste your time (or shipping expenses) with this one. Just go with the RV-5!

Do Not Use This Pedal

This pedal quit working after just a few months of VERY LIGHT USE. It maybe had 1 or 2 hrs of use before it stopped working. Furthermore, the reverb provided by this unit is very digital sounding - not good authentic reverb sound. I do not recommend this pedal.
