I got this on a whim cus it was on sale, and I must say I'm very impressed. It produces overdrive very close to a tube amp sound even through my 15watt Fender practice amp, and when I put it through my Line6 spider III... I would swear its a Marshall stack! It has very easy to use controls that can make it sound compleatly different with a simple switch. The built in noise gate is nice too. Only thing I dont like is its not quite heavy enough for my personal tastes.

WOW Great Drive

I'm totally impressed with this peddal. First of all the construction of it is unbelievable, not only that but the options on it are great. I have used other pedals before that to me the distortion sounded like a cheap radio that wasn't on a station, just pure static. But this thing has a wonderful warm sounding drive that is not to much but just right.

I'am a blues musician, and I have searched for awile to find a peddal that delivers the drive that this one does. I haved tried others such as tube screamers, blues drivers, etc, but this one really delivers a good warm overdrive for me. The ground switch is also a plus.

This pedal has a very solid construction, and I would trust it for gigging. However, sound-wise I don't think this pedal can cut it; the blues, pop and crunch settings all deliver what you'd expect for each of them in terms of the level of distortion, but they just sound terrible: very little depth of tone, and above all, they sound incredibly digital. In my opinion the only thing the pedal does well is it's noise reduction - the noise gate is effective, but it's a distortion pedal, and it doesn't give nice distortion, so this explains the low rating I gave it. The pedal really doesn't allow the tone of the guitar to come through at all, it smothered the sound of my lovely US strat pickups... maybe it sounds better with humbuckers?? I just couldn't get round how digital it sounded, it was as though it wasn't even trying to get a warm tube sound. I didn't keep it long enough to find out, but I've been told by a friend that the battery life isn't too great either.

POWERFUL, VERSATILE OVERDRIVE

Tired of the old school buzzsaw? Turn it to crunch mode and crank up the drive up all the way played through a half-stack and you get a very powerful, modern distortion with lots of attack. Turn it to pop mode and turn up the treble and you've got a nice jazz vibe. Only downside, is like all Line 6 pedals, it can't be daisy chained without buzz or hum.
