Comparable to a 1960A cab!

Had a Vetta II, and because my band mate thought that it sounded too "digital", I traded in the Vetta II and got myself a Spider Valve. I played it through the Vetta cabinet which had the "dead" celestions in it that were perfect for the modeling of the Vetta II, but really didn't do much for the Spider Valve. So, I went out and got myself this cabinet, stuffed full of the Vintage 30s and the amp came to life! This cabinet rocks! I compared it to my friend's Marshall 1960A cabinet, and I couldn't really hear a difference in tone. It's that good!

I own this cab as well as many others. I am a big Line 6 fan and I think that there products are great. However, I think that they are misleading when they say that these are "Real" Vintage 30 speakers. Has anyone cracked open the back of there Line 6 Spidervalve 4x12 cab??? There is a little sticker at the top of the speaker that says made in China. This should create some Red Flags... If you were to open up a Marshall or Rivera or any other top name brands, the Vintage 30 speaker would say made in England. This is a True Celestion Vintage 30 speaker, not whats in this cab... Check it out for yourself... Say what you will, I rather have the Vintage 30 made in England (in my cab) than the one made in China!

I haven't tried every cab in the world, but this one's the best I've owned. My powerball sounds a lot better through this baby than my Carvin, which is loaded with celestion gt75's. The Vintage 30's in my opinion handle high gain much better, along with delivering a warmer tone. All in all a great cab!

I used to use a Marshall cab with my line 6 head. Believe it or not this one sounds ten times better. These Celestians were made for this head (spider 2). You won't find a nastier metal machine.
