Great for live playing

I was having big problems with patch switching live. At first I tried analog pedals, next a mutlti effects unit. I finally ended up with this amp and I is one of the best live setups you could ask for. I traded a Boogie Recto Combo for this set up and it was well worth the trade. The only complaint I have is that this thing can get a bit muddy. This can be fixed with a little tweaking though. Also the foot pedal is laid out beautifully and makes switching very easy as well as turning off independent effects. This amp solved all my problems in one move and the versatility is unmatched by any other setup. One of the biggest incentives for me was that it had knobs for everything, no more scrolling thru menus to tweak tone. This is a godsend when you set up in a room that alters your tone.

Volume knob

I play on this amp twice a week live.. we mic up the amps and play it through the house and it sounds great. There is so many different effects you can choose from on this beast, and I absolutely love it. Some might not like that you have to click through the different channels by hand, but be not afraid.. there is a foot pedal for it. THE ONLY PROBLEM this amp has is its volume knob. It is EXTREMELY sensitive and can freak out if you touch it even in the slightest way.

Not that impressed

I'm a gigging musician and I'm not that impressed. I thought maybe the power tube section would be a good thing, but honestly it doesn't make that big a difference. The tubes make it louder, but no matter how loud you get you can't cut through in a mix with this amp.

Line 6 112 amplifier

I've owned this amp for about 7 months now and it has not let me down. I was looking for a good tube amp to pair with my fender mustang that could also give it a more metal tone. I got this amp after deciding over a fender hot rod deluxe just because of all the options it gave and the fact that the tone of both amps were about equal. The built in amp models and effects are weak at points but get the job done and save you money on pedals. The presets are awesome while not all of them sound exactly like the song they say they are pretty close and you can normally dial them in. My only complaint is the volume knob is very touchy and just the slightest bump can leave you ears ringing. This is by far one one of the loudest amps i have ever heard. For the price this amp is gold, you cannot go wrong with it. Line 6 once again impresses me with a superb quality product.

Not only does this amp have tons of features, it has something Line 6 has been missing out on,, TONE!!! The tone is amazing for the price and the features make this amp a dream for guitarists!! My favorite features are: built in tuner, overdrive, noise gate, reverb, the Celestion Vintage 30, FX loop, and the direct output. Also, this combo has cab outputs that turn it into a fire breathing head!!!!! Spend some time with this amp!!! You can get basically any tone you want if you spend the time to dial it in!!!!!
