I have owned the Flextone 3 Plus (model with 1 x 12)for about a year. I finally got to use the amp with a live band a couple of days ago. It sounded awesome, best sounding amp I have ever heard. But knew only half of the amp was working. So I ordered the ext. cabinet. From the first note with the new cab., there is no comparison. This cab. has changed the sound t the point that I would NEVER split ways with either amp or cab.The amp was awesome to begin with, but the cab makes it sound so full and now that I know how to actually program my amp., I am in HEAVEN with this amp and especially the way it sounds with ext. cab. If you have the Flextone 3 and are happy now, get the ext. cab. and just sit back and be amazed!! I did not know that any amplifier could sound so good. It has any effect you could want and any variation you could dream of. But the ext. cab. makes the amp. WITHOUT the ext. cab., the amp is only working at half power. Buy the cab. & let it Rip!!!
