The Helix Maya HG01 Electric Guitar features the unique helix-contoured body and a 25½" scale set maple neck with a tilt-back headstck. The ebony fingerboard has side-of-neck-only position markers and an abalone 12th fret Helix inlay.

The HG01 is fitted with 2 Alumitone single-coil pickups and 1 Alumitone Humbucker Low-Boy-style split-coil pickup. These revolutionary pickups are aluminum based, rather than copper. The single-coils offer more bass than traditional single-coils, more volume, mids are slightly more then conventional pickups. Highs are clear yet smooth, and are nicely equalized. The Alumitone humbucker also has broadband response like the single-coil version, but is voiced for the classic mid range response humbucker tone. All Lace pickups are handmade and assembled at the Lace factory in Huntington Beach, CA.

Other features include a graphite nut, jumbo frets, Lace jog-dial tone controls, CTS pots, and Grover Mini-Rotomatic tuners. The HG01 comes standard with a trendsetting Red Label gig bag.
