Great little utility amp

I ordered from this page about a month ago. I discovered that I really like the clean with all the tone knobs down - maybe a little bass boost.

I have been running my Tonelab ST stereo out to the CD-input. Tonight, I went back to the guitar in for better volume control. The speaker has more mid than what I would like, but I have no problem with it.

I've very happy with it. Not had a lot of amps over 30+ years, but I have had a Twin, Deluxe, and a Princeton. This is a nice little amp. I was looking for a something like my old brown Princeton with a little more bass and this does pretty well, but there is no tube drive on board.

Have owned everything over 35 years. fender, ampeg, peavy, tube to solid state. They come and go, this one stays. Into my 3rd year with it. Never get tired of that clean warm tone. The 12 inch speaker will not break up even with the clean channel up full thottle. Overdriving the lead channel isn't really extrodinary and the echo-delay effects sound kind of strange. The guitar plug doesn't want to go in or come back out but the tone and the price make up for all of that. It's my #1 amp.

Nice little amp.

Bought this as a temporary replacement for my blown head, something to practice on you know? Well not at ALL!

I immediately plugged it in, I admit, the distortion isn't the greatest, the highs are thin, but that's I wanted it to be a little bit thin for that shrill black metal sound. So I played for a bit then plugged my RP100 effects processor into it.

TOTAL CHANGE IN PACE! It sounds godly if you have the right setup! Crank up the pedal volume all the way, pedal gain all the way, and set on some heavy distortion with high lows, fairly high middle, and turn the high down a bit and you're in for some monstrous tones!

Sure, it will get some feedback and white noise, but put it through a gate and all is well! For the price it's hard to match this one!

I plugged mine into my version 1 Behringer 4X12" Ultrastack and holy hell, it sounds AMAZING! For the money you get monstrous amounts of volume if you find the need for it!

Yet another great buy from the best music store there is!

small, loud, light, simple. Everything anyone needs in an amp. I've had everything from cheap beginner amps to huge 120w 2x12s. This is where I've ended up, a small, nice sounding, sort of vintage amp.

channels: clean channel has a nice tone. dirty channel is great, exept for all the white noise it makes once you turn it past 12 o'clock

effects: reverb is "spring", and delay is basic. I would've rather had hall reverb, but they both sound good.

build: seems pretty sturdy, looks great. nice big 12" for better sound.

Overall: its a great little amp for anything.

A Piece of Rubbish

Let's see aside from the fact it is loud...it is ugly loud. Loud is all it is. NO bottom at all even with every thing else rolled back and the low end cranked to ten. Some sort of so called reverb/delay like someone who has no idea of what either of those should sound like was charged with putting it in this truly incredibly crappy amp. Had it for four weeks tried like hell to like it. Sent it back. A waste of money.
