Great All Wood Guitar

I was looking for an instrument to accompany my wife who plays the flute. I wanted an all wood acoustic guitar, one that was versatile enough to accommodate our range of classical to rock. This guitar more than fits the bill, with its deep warm sounding cedar top with a great bass and treble response. This is a very solid instrument, and I tried several brands costing much, much more, but this one is an incredible value for the price. If you're in the market for this type of guitar, you owe it to yourself to give this one a very serious look.

what a beautiful guitar

I'm a singer/songwriter, not a classical guitarist. I bought this, instead of a steel string, though, because of the projection and the great tone across the full range, from highs to lows. I don't use a pick; I tend to strum with the backs of my fingers and pull up on the return, using my left hand to add sevenths and diminished chords and occasionally hammer. I get the exact sound I want from this responsive all wood guitar. The truth is, it makes me sound like a better guitarist than I am.

I haven't had the Sofia long, though. So my feelings about it might change; if so, I'll update this review. She feels so good though (and the cedar top smells beautiful), I don't anticipate my opinion changing.

An all wood guitar, including the maple binding for $600!

I'm extremely satisfied.

The best classical guitar for the money

I bought one of these a year ago before anyone had even heard of Kremona. The tone, volume and projection are incredible. These Kremonas are THE best values in all solid woods guitars, and rival those costing many times more. They're built solidly and look and feel as good as they sound. You cannot go wrong with a Kremona. Buy one before they're "discovered" and they start selling for what they're actually worth. They've been making fine musical instruments in the Kremona Valley of Bulgaria for more than a century.
