Just bought it off the shelf,,,, a beautifull sounding guitar, with a warm sound and crystal clear highs, the craftmanship is superb , I put Addarios Pro-Argte X-tra heavy gauge strings, this guitar brings every note to life.

A good, all around guitar

As a classical guitarist, I'm always looking for a guitar that has a lot of options. This guitar fits the mold perfectly. Dark, bright, lively, or complex, this guitar can handle many songs. It records well, too. It's strings are a little close together, but since its an all around guitar, one can't help that. But otherwise, it's worth the money.

If you can afford it, buy this guitar without hesitation. This is undoubtedly my best guitar and I own a few. I jusr received my Ramirez a month ago and it is already my go to guitar for solo gigs. The playability is unmatched and although it may not be as loud as my Humphrey acoustically, once you plug it in prepare to be blown away. It looks great and smells fabulous. It's excellent for bossa and crossover jazz as well as comping on pop tunes. I did a recording session the other day and my Ramirez sounded wonderful. Just a great, great guitar.

Worth the wait to buy

I bought mine several years ago used and I'm still taken by the beauty of the instrument and it's superb tone every time I take it from the case and play. Lots of misinformation out there about who builds what at the Ramirez shop. Research it and you will find the Ramirez family scaled back in the late 90's and started to build them entirely instead of farming out work. The guitar reflects the pride in the family name. I have found Savarez Alliance (red label) strings, normal tension to be the best for my playing. Don't see many used out there, there is a reason why, once you locate one, you won't want to give it up either.

Jose Ramirez 2CWE Aura Pro Blend Digital sound

I just went down to Spain to pickup this beauty and I must admit this is the guitar I wanted for the last 10 years. This guitar with the Digital sound is absolute a Very high end classical guitar.

It sounds good beeing played acoustic as well as on amplified sound the Sound system is great and have all what your heart desire for bringing out the sound. This is the Ramirez sound, I also tried the 4CWE also with the Auro system in, the difference between the 2 guitars is the Palisander wood on the sides instead of the Indian Rosewood this gives the 4CWE a more Spruce sound compared to the 2CWE.

Right now I'm playing with the strings that came with the guitar "Jose Ramirez" strings but in the very near future I will try to develope the sound in the guitar using "Hannabach Gold" 825-MT Gold plated.
