After going through a lot of reviews and sound samples and research i finally bought this compressor unit and it is truly awesome. The pre-amp in it by itself solved all of my tone problems, and the compressor part is super as well. With all 4 controlls present you get really shape your sound and tune in the exact specifications necessary for your guitar. great unit
