Green Ghost Flames Blue Ghost Flames Green Ghost Flames, Close Green Ghost Flames, Close, Angle Green Ghost Flames, Back

Titanic tone and fantastic flexibility come from the humbucking Seymour Duncan TB4 bridge and SH1N neck pickups with 3-way selector. Resounding resonance is achieved with a thru-body, quarter-sawn maple neck and alder body. Original Floyd Rose double-locking trem in a recessed bridge cavity combines with a bound ebony 24-fret fingerboard, scooped lower bout, and reduced heel for limitless playing freedom. Scorching Jackson looks are enhanced by the carved maple top, bound headstock, black hardware, and custom green ghost flames paint job on black. 25-1/2" scale, 1-11/16" nut.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Own 12 guitars, Jackson is best
Posted by Soloist_dude from Miami on Jun 21, 2009

I have 12 guitars, from hand-made boutique to Gibson and Fender, the Jackson is my hands down favorite, the neck is the best of any guitar I've ever played in the 45 years I've been playing.

The only thing I would change is the volume knob is too close to the strings and I sometimes hit it when I'm doing a fast passage and I end up losing volume, I would rather see it placed lower on the body away from the strings.

I play everything from country rock to fusion jazz, to death metal and this is the perfect axe for it all.

Killer Guitar

Let me just start by saying that I have owned this guitar for about a year so I feel I have had ample time to make an accurate review. Also I would like to point out that I am a versatile player. The Jackson custom shop kills every other custom shop out there, the craftsmanship is incredible but the sound what makes this guitar. Out of all the other custom shops that I've bought from in my life, even the tone connoisseurs at Gibson, none have rivaled the Jackson's sound. Also Jackson has incredibly fair prices based on the quality of these amazing instruments, no other custom shop sell's at these prices and no other custom shop can rival the quality, sound, and playability either. Extremely comfortable neck, contours your hand like it was made specifically for you. The Ebony board is smooth as can be and the fretwork is obviously flawless. The Duncans provide a rich and articulate tone but are a bit on the lower gain side for my tastes. The original Floyd is the best around. I run this guitar through a Peavey 6505+ Head and a celestion equipped Marshall Cab and the tone is unparalleled to anything I have heard in the past based on my tastes of course. I would recommend this model to any musician making the jump to their first handcrafted guitar, no matter what your style this guitar delivers!

Perfect tone. Perfect playablity. It's to bad Jackson is only marketed to metal players. Its looks can be very conservative depending on which color you choose and any humbucker tone can be dialed in. I will love this guitar for many years to come.

By Far the best money can buy

As the title states, Jackson USA select are by far the best qualtiy money can buy. These may seem pricey but well worth money spent on a hand crafted pro quality guitar. I have been playing over 13 years and have played other brands and I have to tell you. After purchaseing the SLH2 I was completely impressed in the craftmanship and quality of this Axe. I always heard Jacksons made great guitars but was very hesitant of purchasing this guitar due the price tag, however I do not regret throwing down the cash for this amazing Axe. This guitar fits like a glove, and the speed of the neck and factory action is top notch. If you don't believe me I suggest going to your nearest guitar store and pick one up and play it. This axe doesn't compare to anything I have owned or played in the past. Thanks Jackson I am now an exclusive Jackson player.
