The strikingly designed Jackson RR3 Rhoads Pro Electric Guitar is a great guitar for its price. Alder body (with flamed maple top on the transparent finishes), maple neck, compound-radius rosewood fretboard, jumbo frets, Floyd Rose-licensed Jackson low-profile double-locking tremolo, Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) and Jazz (neck) humbuckers, volume/volume/tone with 3-way switching, and black hardware.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Awesome Guitar

This guitar is really great. The stock pickups sound great through my Line 6 Spider Jam. When I first got it the action was pretty high but that was an easy fix. The floyd rose is really good. It wont go out of tune for nothing. I can't find anything wrong with it really. I thought it was going to be pain to sit with but it really isnt. The neck is really fast (just like Jackson's should be). I got the black and it looks great. It sounds great for any style music and is an overall great guitar

The sound is really good with the seymor duncans. It stays in tune even when you do huge dive bombs. I'd say the worst part about this guitar is that the long wing will get dinged up fast. I recommend this guitar!

I know people who own this guitar and I've played one myslef, and I gotta say that I'm impressed...not uncommon for me when it comes to Jackson guitars. The pickups are very good, and if you're not satisfied you can easily adjust your amp/pedal/eq settings. The neck feels pretty comfortable, and the Rhoads body design is perfect for both sitting down and it looks good when you stand up. It never goes out of tune, even after extreme whammy abuse. I reccomend this to anyone who wants a guitar worth using.

I got this guitar just 2 days ago and it is sweet. I wanted a guitar that looks cool and has a Floyd Rose so I can use it at my schools talent show. This is it! The licensed Floyd Rose does stay in tune pretty good. It comes out just a little bit but you can barely notice it. Everyone says it is so hard to play and sit down with it. It isn't really. Just put the smaller wing in between your legs. I got the crimson swirl color and it's awesome. The pickups are great. I recommend this guitar!

Stage Gear

I got this just before Christmas, and it is a joy to own. Online photos have never done justice to the finishes on any of my guitars. When I got it the neck was shifted just slightly to the left so the low E would start to slide off the fretboard around the 12th fret, but that was a quick fix. And the neck-end strap button needed to be moved to the other side of the bolt plate so it would balance correctly, the only real complaint I have with it is that, when distorted, the neck pickup sounds almost exactly like the bridge so I'm going to exchange it for a Duncan Distortion or a Di'marzio Super 3. It has great natural tone, so dont ruin it with EMGs. Oh, and the trem holds tune surprisingly well. All in all it's a pro quality instrument.
