The magnificent Demmelition King V Electric Guitar, was designed in collaboration with guitarist Phil Demmel of Grammy-nominated thrashmeisters Machine Head. This striking artist signature model from the Pro Series has the line's classic V-shaped alder body, with a more aggressive edge thanks to its additional cutouts and a setup for the low-tuned, brutal player.
The Phil Demmel Signature King V's through-body quartersawn maple neck features a bound compound-radius ebony fingerboard (12" to 16") with 24 jumbo frets, mother-of-pearl shark fin position inlays and black-bound headstock with an inlaid mother-of-pearl Jackson logo. The sonic barrage comes from an EMG-81 bridge pickup and an EMG-60 neck pickup, each with its own CTS volume control and both controlled by a three-way Switchcraft switch. Other features include a Floyd Rose Original double-locking two-point tremolo bridge, black hardware and die-cast tuners.

I originally was going to get a Dean or Jackson Dkmg at one of the nearest music stores, but the guitar tech started to explain to me different pro's and con's of different styles of guitars and brands. I picked up this guitar and it was love at first touch. It was an incredible deal too. It was practically a steal. I'm very happy with this guitar.

I bought this a few months ago from a local Jackson dealer. The features are great, the OFR stays in tune, craftsmanship is excellent. This guitar is on par with a handmade Hamer I had in the late 80's. Don't be fooled, you CAN play other styles with this guitar depending on your amp/effects setup. The tone is phenomenal. Very thick and crunchy sounding, great sustain, and it's a killer metal guitar. Stays in tune great, no problems. I've played it at an outside gig with the temperature in the low 50's, no tuning problems. Neck is solid and sturdy. Not only is it great for metal, it works for music with dynamic changes as well. Sounds great clean also. The only thing I would change is to have a 3-way selector switch instead if the Strat-style blade switch, but it's not a problem for me, the blade switch works well. Electronics are top-notch. Buy it, you can't go wrong with Jackson!!

I bought this guitar last week, it is my fourth guitar, i also have an Esp Eclipse standard 2, Ltd Mh-1000 with Seymour Duncan Blackouts, and a Jackson Dk2 with a Seymour Duncan Invader. It very light, extremely fast neck, it is perfect for metal, and if you have about 1300 then u should defiently buy this guitar, i have it in white and the finish is so beautiful... great guitar!

I bought this guitar about a month ago, people that say that it feel/looks cheap must be very amature players, i have been playing for over 15 years, and I know a good guitar when i see one, This guitar has a Real floyd rose licenced trem, An Extremley fast neck, Great finish, and overall is a Great and VERY playable guitar, the alder body makes it a very light, and very mobile guitar. My only complant is that it is not versitial, Its ONLY FOR METAL!!! only, if you buy this guitar and expect it to do anything else you are going to be disapointed. This guitar is meant to be in Dropped tuning and have Very heavy gauge strings. Its Very pricy also, but Like a said a Great guitar.

I played this guitar at a music store in my city, this guitar was a major let down. First off, it feels like it's made of plastic, the finish is terrible. The neck pickup is way too low to the point of the guitar almost becoming silent when you switch. Despite having a floyd rose bridge, you get the movement on the whammy about that of a fixed bridge guitar. The only positive things I can say about this guitar is that the neck plays nicely and it's not too heavy. Do not buy this guitar.
