If anyone does buy this, you don't have to replace the pickup to kill the noise. Ways to improve effectiveness are to attach aluminum foil to the back plate and attach it to one of the knobs with shielded wire. Also remove the back plate from the trem cavity and you get next to no noise, without impediments on the guitar's performance.

There is one adjustment I had to make. It was the strap button by the neck had to be moved to the upper right neckplate screw so it would balance the guitar. The guitar is neck heavy. But do this and it will be amazing. No more neck heavy. Perfect!

I got the one with the skulls. Paint job is awesome. Needed to be set up by my friend Parker. After the set up, plays like a dream. Worth the money. Pickups squeal good for being Jazzy, and I think they sound great.

I bought this guitar the day it came out. The tone is great for only having one tone. This is my main guitar for shows. My only complaints are that it is heavy in weight and the pick-ups are too sensative for my playing style. I find that on some riffs when I pull my fingers away I get a scratchy open not sound that cover my other notes. However slap some new pick-ups in there and this could be the perfect guitar.
