Dark Metallic Blue, Rosewood Fretboard

Featuring one of the coolest body designs ever, the 2008 Jackson JS30WR Warrior is phenomenally comfortable and well-balanced. A genuine alder electric guitar body with bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fretboard, and string-through body provides maximum resonance to assist the smoking Jackson CVR2 humbuckers.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

I see people saying the head is heavy. It only makes from longer sustain. Instead of having a "zonky" tone that sits in the body, it has a crisp sharp tone that sustains as long as you pin the strings(well almost). The neck is as comfortable as can be. BUT, if you want amazing sound, change the pickups. I swear by EMG-HZ passive in the bridge for great metal sound. And leave the factory neck pickup, the sound is very warm and clear which is kinda tough to find anymore since you either get one or the other instead of both. I have been recording for 10 years and it's set up I use when making all Life's Eclipse music. You can search it out and hear what I mean as far as Clean, and Heavy go.

This is a great guitar if you dislike floyd rose tremelo's. I bought this guitar used and was going to steal the neck off of it but it played so nice I just kept it together. The stock pickups are not very good, I replaced them with Duncan JB and 59' and this guitar is sweet now. I find myself using it more than any of my other more expensive guitars.

I got this guitar for my birthday (but in red), and its great. The only complaint I had was the headstock is kinda heavy and it kinda pushes down more, but thats something small. It has a nice slim neck for faster playing, and it looks mad cool.

A great guitar for the value, you can't beat this. The sound is great, and it plays great. Only complaints I see is tuning issues, which they aren't as bad as people say they are. It doesn't stay in tune like a guitar with locking trem, duh, but you might have to tune it every other day, it will only slightly be out a little, besides it doesn't hurt to tune it up before performance anyways.

I got this guitar in november of 06, and it's one of the best electric guitars I have played for the price.

Jackson JS30WR Warrior, Black Finish

This is my third electric guitar and is so far the best, although I will be upgrading to a Dean here shortly. The neck has a nice feel to it allowing for quick and easy movement across the fretboard. There is only one really glaring problem that I've had with this guitar (hence the 4.0 quality rating) and that is the fact that it is very top heavy. If you like to play standing up you're going to want to get a very sturdy strap as it will try to dip down a lot.

The pickups, while nice, are not the best. I customized my Warrior with dual DiMarzio pickups which really helped it put out some nice riffs.

If you're looking for a nice guitar for a good price and have to have the warrior shape, don't hesitate to buy it. I would just recommend you look at the King V or Randy Rhodes model due to the warrior's top heavy problem.
