Snow White Trans Black Trans Blue Eerie Dess Swirl Trans Blue, Back Trans Black, Close Angle

The Jackson DK2M Dinky Electric Guitar is powered by a Seymour Duncan JB TB4 humbucker (bridge) and a Seymour Duncan Jazz SH2N humbucker (neck) mounted on a sleek alder body for plenty of warm, chunky tone. The rock maple neck sports a bound compound-radius maple fretboard. A scalloped heel means uninhibited access to the upper frets, while the Floyd Rose-licensed Jackson low-profile double-locking trem gives you the confidence to dip for the low notes.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut (12") for easy chording and flattens out (16") as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

So i just got this guitar a few days ago and i love it. the floyd stays in tune amazingly for not being a true floyd. the neck and fretboard feel awesome when playing. to me its different from rosewood/ebony fretboards, but it feels right. The pickups are fairly good, im planning on an EMG switch sometime soon though. (im just an EMG guy is all. seymours arent my thing) I got the Eerie dess swirl. but if you dont want to spend extra on the paint either get a simpler color or go to ebay and get the Eerie dess for the same price as the base colors (thats what i did) if you are looking to play any type of metal or even jazz/clean sounding music, get this guitar. it wont dissapoint.

The Jackson DK2M Dinky guitar is the best floyd-rose style guitar I've ever owned or played on. It plays insanely smoothly, and stays in tune flawlessly (I just got done jamming to the live version of Bon Jovi's "In And Out of Love", in which I use a LOT of whammy bar, and had no tuning issues after). My only complaint is the lack of a coil tap for the bridge pup. Also, I play alot of metal, and the Seymour Duncan pups (particularly the JB) aren't quite hot enough for me. I was able to coax a decent metal tone out of the guitar, but had to push my Pod XT Live effects unit very hard to achieve it. So, I plan on dropping a SD SH-6 or SH-8 pup in the bridge and keeping the SH-2N jazz in the neck for some versatility (the cleans on the SH-2N are amazing). That'll make this the ultimate shred machine! Pick one up now--you will NOT regret it.

I have been playing guitar since 1979 and have found this Jackson to be the best quality guitar I have ever owned for the price.

Get it set up - and you will not believe how great it plays and sounds. Major tone resonating from this instrument.

A guitar equal to this one would cost over 1K easily. I have played and owned many high end guitars. This one's a keeper. Sounds great with the seymour duncan pickups and floyd rose trem. The maple neck is sweet. This guitar roars on my 1/2 stack. If you don't have the bucks and want a sweet guitar, purchase this one and you won't have any regrets.

Nice axe for the money

This guitar is a very good buy for the money. I bought mine on a closeout of last year's model, and it was a great buy. However, the guitar is well worth retail price, with excellent pickups, a phenomenal neck, and a really nice licensed Floyd Rose system. Once it's broken in, the guitar stays in tune nicely, even after sitting cased for a few days and some wild weather swings. It has a sound that is better or equal to much more expensive guitars out there. I knocked it a little bit on the quality because, as noted, sometimes the whammy bar will unscrew itself, and not stay in a fixed position. I'd love to see a coil tap as well, but that doesn't detract much from the guitar's overall excellence. It's hard to buy a plain stratocaster when there's something like this out there.
