Black Inferno Red

The Jackson DK2 Dinky Electric Guitar is the 2008 model and sports a Seymour Duncan JB TB4 humbucker (bridge)and a Seymour Duncan Jazz SH2N humbucker (neck) mounted on a sleek alder body for plenty of warm, chunky tone. The shred-eriffic rock maple neck sports a bound compound-radius maple fretboard. A scalloped heel means uninhibited access to the upper frets, while a Floyd Rose double-locking trem lets you dive as deep as you want.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

I bought this guitar mainly because it had all the features I wanted and was affordable. Has the floating locking trem, 24 frets, 6 in line tuners, pointy headstock, Duncans, and looks great. I got a great deal on this thing and I'm very impressed by the sound and sustain. With this guitar, you can play pretty much any music on it. I play punk, rock, metal, and alternative and it sounds great for anything. I play it through a Line6 75w combo and it sounds fantastic. Pickups hardly buzz, trem stays in tune, and no flaws in the paint or body. FAST neck and sweet looks. I have the white one. Probably best looking one in my opinion with the maple neck. This thing will not disappoint. Best value and versatility out there for all the features. No complaints and I've played it everyday for three months now. The only adjustments I made were I lowered the action a little, put an extra spring in the trem block, and adjusted the pickup height. You will impress ppl with this thing too. Rock on!

I picked one of these up in the Eerie Dess Swirl paint job about 6 months ago and have loved it ever since. The neck is amazing, you cant beat the maple. The whammy bar does a good job of keeping the thing in tune. Overall its a really good guitar and a great value.

I have had mine for over 7 months now and it is AWESOME. It has a great sound and a great sustain. This guitar has turned me into a huge Duncan fan. It's relatively light and has an amazing neck. The tremolo is great: I regularly throw it into the air by the bar and it always works great and stays in tune. If you're going to get this guitar, get it in white, because with the maple neck, it's absolutely GORGEOUS. Like all Jacksons, (in my opinion), it looks very metal, so that could be a pro or con depending on what you play. If you are thinking about getting a superstrat, go for this or the DK2, because they're both better than anything else in the price range. Rock on!

I picked up the white DKM2 pictured here afer owning both a KE3 and RR3, as well as a Dinky DKHMZ. The white one smokes them all, and has become my main stage guitar. I liked it so much, in fact, I went out and picked up a black one just like it, which is my drop-D ride. They always stay in tune, and take the abuse I dish out to 'em, I play HARD! The way it feels, sounds and plays, make this a top line guitar for an affordable price. Jackson does it again!

The volume knob is too close to the bridge pickup that makes accidental collision of finger with the knob. The bridge is a little bit hard to operate as compared to the Jackson Rhandy Rhoads Pro which is only a little more than this one. Strings are cool but they would be better in their little bit relaxed way. Nothing is sent along with guitar. Not even a plectrum. I was hoping for a warranty card and other operating guide but I received only guitar. The volume and tone controllers are poorly fitted. They tend to get loose with even a soft impact. But its a good guitar that suits your value. If you can't go for Soloist, go for dinky......
