Black, Rosewood Fretboard

The 2008 model Jackson JS30KV King V is an electric guitar wi scorching looks that come courtesy of its aggressively shaped alder body. Jumbo frets laid into a rosewood fretboard on a fast maple neck facilitate fleet finger work. Dual Jackson CVR2 humbucker pickups with master volume and tone controls deliver blistering tone that'll heat up the house.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

This guitar was my second one following a b.c rich warlock. The warlock was horrible and this one wasn't a lot better. This was pretty cool because its a v and stuff but never buy a guitar based on looks. Sitting with this thing can really start to annoy you after a while. I was told this but I just thought I would get used to it. Thats not the case. Save up! the little extra time to get a good guitar will be so much better. Personally esp has been my point of no return. Ibanez is also good too. look around and remember to never get a guitar based on looks.

Robbin Crosby would probably be pretty unhappy to see a King V without a Floyd Rose. Apart from that, this guitar isn't too bad. I'd prefer sharkfin inlays but thats got nothing to do with how it plays. For the price, it's got a good neck, but I'd rather have Seymour Duncans on any Jackson. Of course, it's an awesome shape. Not bad for a first or backup guitar.

This guitar is great for beginer/intermediate guitarists. When I first tried out this guitar; I was shocked. It was not at all what I was expecting. Great guitar and a great investment.

Great starter guitar!

Well first off, I want to say that the people that have posted bad reviews about this guitar might have just got a bad guitar, or I just got lucky, one or the other. I've had mine for a little over 2 years now and it is still great. It has almost no feed back, and absolutely no fret buzz that other people said that theirs had, and plays amazingly. For the pickups, I was really shocked. I wasn't expecting them to be that great, but they turned out to be amazing for stock pickups. It is also extremely light weight so that was a plus for me. The only things that I wish it had was a set neck, the shark tooth inlays and a better set of pickups. It's hard to play this guitar sitting down to, but it's a v shape so what can you expect. Over all, just take good care of it and it will return the favor. Great guitar.

This guitar is sweet! I've always loved V's. This guitar looks awesome, and sounds good... ignore the reviews which say it sound awful, with a decent amp it will sound fantastic! you won'tnoticed the fret buzz when you're shredding, this is a fast action guitar with killer looks. I love it and I still havent' taken the stock strings off, I haven't had time but it still sounds alright! If you're on a low budget and watn a killer guitar... here it is!
