Black Metallic Red

The 2008 Jackson JS1 Dinky is Jackson's lowest-priced Dinky-style electric guitar. The JS1 Dinky features a 22-jumbo-fret rosewood fingerboard, 2 humbucker pickups, vintage fulcrum-style tremolo, volume and tone controls, and a 3-way toggle switch.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Jackson JS1 Dinky Electric Guitar 2008 Model Features:

  • Maple neck
  • Alder body
  • 22-jumbo-fret dark Indian rosewood fingerboard
  • 2 humbucker pickups
  • Vintage fulcrum-style tremolo
  • One volume and one tone control, and a 3-way toggle switch

This was my first guitar and so far second best out of 6. Works as well as the first day I got it. I went from playing Ironman and Smoke on the water to never ending arpeggios and songs like Gematria and All Hope Is Gone. Great neck, easy shred. The only thing I'd wanna fix is the bridge. Put in an Original Floyd Rose. Overall this guitar is great and will last for times to come.

This is a very solid guitar that gets the job done. I've been playing for about 8 months now and this guitar is my first. I enjoy playing it a lot though it may not be for someone who has been playing for a very long time. This guitar is very strong in two ways: Sound and Body. The sound could be better really the pickups hum a lot and should be changed out. But this guitar does more damage on my walls then the do on it.

The pickups in this guitar are okay if you don't care about sound that much. They are great for low tunings like drop C and Drop B but anything higher then Drop C# and the sound really starts to waver.

This guitar stays in tune well but would be much better with a Floyd Rose bridge instead of the bridge on it. Mine didnt come with a wammy bar but if it did I wouldnt use it because the tuning would last no where near as long.

This is a very solid guitar and is great for someone starting out like me and if you arent and youre more experienced and just need a cheep guitar thats going to work well pick it up as well just change out the pickups with some Seymoure Duncans.

The Best Beginner Guitar

My 2nd guitar and i absolutely love it. Such a fast neck and great all round feel to it. It can handle blues all the way up to death metal, it's great for down tuning. The body is heavy and very very solid..I've bumped it many times and it hasn't even dinged yet. The pickups are hot but might need changed later on if you feel it needs to be done.

To sum it all up this is a great all round playing guitar. Highly recommended! A+++

It sounds great on distortion but that's it. I put some duncans in it and a floyd rose but it was so hard to tune that I'm going to sell it. While it did stay in tune, there is no way to drop tune it.
