So I got this thing Wednesday, tuned it up to E 'cause that's where I play 'em, it holds pitch really well and the quality is #1. Action is low and smooth. The neck is a shallow D shape, a little on the thick side but not by much. Fit and finish are #1 as well. This one is in Cherryburst and looks really nice. The fret ends are well finished and only a light buffing will make them perfect. The hardware is first rate also, high quality chrome plate on the bridge, tailpiece, and enclosed tuners, which work very smoothly. The control panel is inset into the body w/ an angled 1/4" jack. 2 volume and 1 tone control, what more do you need? 2 P 90 style pickups which sound pretty good, will need to play more for better assessment. The hardware and pickups are by Wilkinson, which owns the brand, so no wonder about the quality of fittings. I have been looking for an electric 12 for a couple of years and had all but given up, then I came across this brand via a friend, and decided to see what they had. I'm in love! Looks a lot like a Ric, sounds a lot like a Ric, made every bit as well as a Ric, at a very goood price. Glad I bought this 12. Now I can have my cake and eat it too!

I bought the white pearl version. What a knockout 12 string. Fit and finish was first class. It came with 10-46 strings, so I took it to my local luthier to change the 10's to 9's and the 46 to 42, plus check the set up. He changed the strings and tweaked the set up, saying he really didn't do that much. Everyone in the store came over to see it when I got it back and was putting it into the gig bag. Even the clerks and store manager came over. I even played it for them. All were impressed. I have two Strat deluxes, which I love to play, but I truly love this guitar. It is light, beautiful, and sounds like an electric 12 string is supposed to sound, full, bright, and jangly. There is a separate volume knob for each pickup and a tone knob. This gives you infinite sound combinations. I've played more and less expensive 12 strings, but the Rimin 12 is by far the best guitar and value.

I Love This 12

I first saw the 6 string and loved it- and then bought it. This 12 plays so easily- I got the black with the mini humbuckers- and not just the jangle stuff. Put this bad boy through an OD pedal and it will melt you.
The action was great right out of the box- and I always get compliments on it. The placement of the tuners looked odd at first, but you will see why when you tune it. The set up makes it so easy to get a hold of and track tuning pegs.
This has been travelling with me for about a year, and I use it through half the set. I have never had to tune on stage ( like other 12s I have owned in the past). It stays right on 440 and it is also agreeable to alternate tunings-

Was not impressed when the guitar came without a gig bag, just in a box. My first thoughts were, this baby is probably going back. After tuning her & playing, I was quite impressed. The pros;
The weight & balance of the instrument felt right. Fit & finish was top notch. Action was incredibly low. For the a 12 string, the playability was effortless. The bottom line was I enjoyed playing the guitar. I purchased the cherry burst, with the mini humbuckers. In any case they look like mini hums. Frets are jumbos 1 volume knob for each pickup, (no toggle switch) & 1 tone knob. The cons;, Looks very much like another brands 12 & no case or gig bag. If you can deal with these cons, this is a great 12 string, with high quality, that I strongly recommend.

I bought this thing a few months ago. I used to have a Vox teardrop 12 -string that I pawned in hard times and I have been regretting it ever since. I finally foun a 12 that made me OK with the loss. I used it to do a cover on an old Byrds tune "Feel a Whole Lot Better When You're Gone" and it just sang. It plays like a dream. No set up required. I took it out of the box and hit the studio. The only comlaint was that the lable fell off of the headstok. I just guled it back on. Everything else was a dream. One problmem: No case. I had a hell of a time finding a case it would fit in. The tonal arrangement is great. I don't miss the pick-up switch. The knob lets me blend the sound I want.
