Great alternative to high end acoustic amps

I was set to order a Carvin when I saw this one at the MF outlet store. I tried several different guitars with it and was very impressed so I bought it. I've had it almost 2 years now and am still impressed each time I use it. I can't imagine any features that it needs added. The reverb is perfect for acoustics. Not that "yell in a well" sound but instead subtle, but obvious. I'm not a big chorus fan but this one is ok. It might add a little too much midrange for my tastes but not terrible. I was skeptical about the 3 position EQ but the notch feature makes the EQ almost infinite. I can dial in all my guitars just to suit me with it. The only reason I gave it a 7 for quality was that it had a rattle that occurred anytime you hit an open A string at much volume. I took the back off and found that the chassis was loose at it's mounting screws. Tightened them all up and the rattle went away for a while but came back. The next time I put in some longer screws with a little glue on them and the rattle hasn't come back in over a year. A VERY nice looking amp with heavy vinyl covering and gold accents. I'm thoroughly happy with it in every way. I think the two 10s plus tweeters is the perfect setup for an acoustic and am glad that I found this one...not to mention saving several bucks in the process.
