I purchased this amp to go with a Lace California passive pickup on my Gibson J-50 after looking at the smaller T-20. I'm very happy with the sound and the features...plenty of volume with the passive pickup, at least for small to medium size rooms. True, the thin vinyl covering will get scarred easily, but I'm careful with my stuff so that is not an issue for me. The size and weight is perfect for easy portability but it has great sound for a small amp. Definitely worth the extra money over the T-20 for the extra power, reverb, and separate mic channel.

Easily the best of the low-cost acoustic amps, including some that cost a lot more. Surprisingly fat sound and good features in a nice-looking package. Useful EQ and reverb. Decent chorus too, but i don't use it much. Plenty loud enough to accompany yourself in a small room, but you'd need more power to hang with a band.

I looked every where on the web for a review of the new 2009 version(t-35)but could find none.I just bought the t-35 30 days ago anyway so I will give the rest of you a quick "heads up" I have been using a fishman loudbox(2005 model) for the last few years but have been leaving it home lately mostly due to its wieght(60lbs).This little amp surprised me in a good way in nearly every category. Good sound,good features, fair price and lightwieght. I have no regrets so far. The chorus is pretty decent and considering I was thinking of buying the new fishman premium chorus pedal voiced for the acoustic guitar, the price I paid for this amp is a real bargain. I must say I strongly considered the Roland AC 60 but since I use this amp primarily as my monitor and DI the extra wattage from the Roland was not needed.I will add that the Mic preamp is pretty good and a truly discreet chanel from the chorus/guitar side(don't be afraid to use it) The only shortcomings on this amp so far are the lack of tuner outputs and the cheap vinyl covering(looks ok but won't last to any abuse)also the output signal from the xlr out is realy hot so turn your trim way down on the board.If you use the 1/4 inch line out the levels are fine but you lose the function of the speaker/monitor. Good product at a good price with good tone(especially the xlr out to the board/1/4 inch line out).Hope this helps somebody out.

Sounds fantastic coupled with my Ibanez Talman TCY20 Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar. The "cube" shape balances the output very nicely and is easy to transport. I love the controls and inputs on the top for easy access and sleek look.

Closest cube sound to the AER's without breaking the bank.
