PERFECT WAH!!

Ibanez is always a good brand, but with this wah pedal, YOU CAN ACHIEVE THE TONE OF EVERY WAH PEDAL MADE. It is very well priced for what it is. The locking effect knobs help a lot, as well as being able to control every aspect of the wah, including delay factor and intensity. The ability to have it in footswitch or automatic mode help a lot too. Finally, there is not such feeling as being able to say that your wah pedal is bulletproof.

First off let me say that this thing's appearance is SUWEET!! But we're guitarists and like practice funtionality over form right? The tweakablity of the WD-7 is second to none, selectable range AND it is further adjustable with (whodathunkit?) a range adjustment knob, low end adjustment knob and Q setting knob. Very versitile in that it can achieve that classic Crybaby Wah and Vox sweep. One problem tho...I'm going to have to agree with everybody else on this one, this thing is a pedalboard HOG!! It takes up an INSANE amount of space, but in my opinion is totally worth it. The auto on/off function is very useful after you play with it for a while and get the off delay set to your liking. Just got the thing like 12 hours ago so I don't really know about the reliability, but I went for the 3 year protection plan anyway. Overall, space hog, but extremely versitile, highly tweakable, sexy, bulletproof, and fairly affordable!! Worth the space and money in my book!!

I've had this pedal for about a year now. I bought it mainly for the price. This is a great pedal for the price. It's built relatively sturdy. It has some good tweeking features and sounds pretty good. The only thing I don't like about it is not having the on/off switch underneath the pedal. It's kind of a pain having it off to the side if you need a quick turn on for a solo or something. Other than that its a pretty good wah for the relatively low price tag.

This pedal is awesome and I mean AWESOME! The only thing is i use a BUNCH of distortion and that creates too much feedback but i can still get a metal wah also. So its a great pedal for anybody on a tight budget or of any playing level.

Sweet for Shredding

I bought this wah a few months ago and I must say that I am totally pleased with it. Until I bought this, I was using a standard CryBaby exclusively and It was perfect for songs by bands like Rage and GnR, but I just couldn't get that super low sweep that you hear in solos by Zakk or Dime. I bought this because of the spring loaded feature and it was the best one that I could find that switched between normal and spring. I switched the frequency switch to "low" and oh my god I sound like Zakk when I start shredding! The Cry Baby is still on my board so I can have the appropriate effect for covers like Bulls on Parade and others that were recorded with a CryBaby. I gave the features a rating of '4' because the button sticks out the side and takes up room on my board. That is my only complaint.
