The Ibanez AW7 from the Tone-Lok series isn't just any autowah. First, a Cry Baby-style wah with both low and high frequencies cut. Second, an LPF-style wah with only high frequencies cut. The Ibanez AW7 guitar effects pedal also works as a notch filter with the Sens at 0, similar to having a wah turned on but not "rocked." Built-in distortion circuit can be switched to either pre or post wah.

On the outside, Tone-Lok effects are equipped with the Ibanez exclusive set and forget Push-Lok rotary pots. Push the knobs down and your tone settings lock securely inside the case—no more lost settings or broken knobs.

On the inside, Tone-Lok pedals feature hi-fidelity components carefully tweaked with the constant input from a new generation of Ibanez players. And all this great stuff comes encased in cool looking, road-tough metal boxes at prices the working player can afford.

Ibanez Tone-Lok AW7 Autowah Pedal Features:

  • 2 switchable effects: Cry Baby-style wah with both lows and highs cut or an LPF-style wah with only highs cut
  • With Sens at 0 it works as a notch filter, like having a wah turned on but not "rocked"
  • Built-in distortion circuit can be switched to either pre or post wah

It's the wah you want. Order this stompbox today!

I just bought this downtown not too long ago and I'm pretty happy with it. My only real complaint with it is if you put in front of a distortion pedal set on high it makes a lot of noise. A LOT OF NOISE. It starts whining and popping like hell but other than that is that it's top notch pick it up if you got the cash.

Good Buy for a Budget

This pedal is good for the money. I play gigs every weekend and I have had no problems with this pedal. However, I prefer more control. This pedal has a sensitivity knob but it is still difficult to control. Good pedal for the budget but I'm going to invest in the Tremonti Wah in the future.

Don't get this

I bought this pedal about 5 months ago it worked good for about a month. The sound wasn't good to begin with but the sound really started to go after a month. I started to notice that the volume started to decrease so much that when I turned my pedal on you couldn't even hear the guitar. I checked everything my cables, my amp, my guitar, my other pedals and still nothing was working. So save up some extra cash and buy a Cry Baby.

Not a Cry-Baby but will do the job

I play from a wheelchair so a normal wah-wah is out of the question for me. This pedal does a pretty good job, though. It will get a pretty good approximation of a Cry-Baby though you won't have the control you have with one. However, Ibanez could have left out the distortion, which is tinny and obnoxious. I get what I need for that from either my Blues Driver or my Flextone II. I always have to make sure it's off before I start using this pedal. The distortion loses this pedal a point on features for me.
