I've been playing guitar for about 5-6 months on a ESP EC 100QM and this amp. Its awesome!Great distortion, Lots of Punch and an amazing clean sound. Sometimes "pops" a little but an awesome starter amp anyway. Distortion is amazing and picks up tapping well too, the day I bought this amp I looked into buying a Marshall too but liked this better.

This amp has it all. It small, loud and it sounds great. With the iPod/MP3 input it's the perfect amp for my kids. I bought one for my son and my daughter. They can practice quietly alone and rock out together. I can't wait to get my own.

The most for the least

Without a doubt the best small amp for any metal or rock player out there, of course with the exception of an extremely over-priced Marshall. The distortion on this can go from Metallica stuff to Bullet For My Valentine to Crazy Train (also picks up enough to tap the solo flawlessly). The clean channel has great tones also, and if you put it on the clean channel and turn the gain all the way up you get a perfect classic rock tone! A must have for anybody.

The Perfect Starter Amp

I was at my local Ibanez dealership orginally looking for an amp head. After I got done ordering a Laney head I thought I should get an alternative practice amp so I wouldnt have to lug my halfstack to school and back everyday. As soon as I pluged into this amp I realized that this small amp has all the tone you could ever want. For a small amp it packs a punch that you have to hear to believe. This Amp Is Perfect for starters and pros alike.
