The Perfect Amp

I bought this amp after using the Marshall MG100DFX, the Randall Titan, the Marshall AVT, and the Line 6 Spider 4 head. This amp is by far, the best amp out of all of the above mentioned. The clean channel is perfect, the gain is out of this world and the PRICE is incredible. At my band's last 3 shows, I've had people come up to me and compliment me on my tone. Every one of them thought this was a tube amp. They told me that my sound was "awesome." When I told them it was solid state, they were shocked. I've played huge venues with this amp and have yet to be disappointed. I am an active touring heavy metal guitarist, and if you play similar music, then I would strongly recommend this amp to you. It was the end of my, what seemed to be, never ending, quest to find the perfect amp. Thanks Ibanez!

I bought the TBX150H head and matching cabinet after finding out that we were going to start playing bigger venues. First i tried out some peaveys, a buddys all tube Vox, and a marshall 212 Combo. But any of these amps would have to have been mic'd, but for the price of this amp you will be playing bigger venues for less money. The sound is full and rich in both the clean and Distortion channels, which a lot of solid state amps lack. With the x-mode switch on board this amps sounds just like you ran a digitech grunge pedal through, that takes one off my pedal board! On the clean channel it offers a nice clean sound but press the button for overdrive and half the time you wont realize your playin on a clean channel. This amp is easy to use because it does not have a million effects, and two simple channels with gain, bass, treble, volume, resonance, and also a hue knob for dialing in how soft or sharp you would like your tone. With great sound and a volume level that will make your ears ring i just cant say enough about this head, all i can say is i cant wait for the show! Thanks Ibanez!

I used a fender amp for 20 plus years then I used a line6 for 2 years. I dislike the line6. Therefore, I perched this amp and the sound was amazing. For a test, I hooked both up and a friend and I played. A few other people were around and everyone said the same thing this is a nice head. Loud and clean, the thing I liked best is the fact that they did not put a million efx onto the head.

I got this head back in March and I've been nothing but amazed. I'm currently running it through a Crate 4x12 cab with Celestions in it. The clean channel is crisp and clear and the "Hot" channel has a perfect level of distortion. I have no problem with volume as well, it gets plenty loud. After continuously using this for shows, it hasn't let me down. The only thing I recommend is getting a noise suppressor if you're going to play at high volume because of the feedback, but that's kinda expected. Buy this amp!
