One of the best I've played

I have had an ESP Viper for the longest time, and granted it is an awesome guitar, I just felt that it was time for something new. I went to 3 different music shops (because in Anchorage they only have 3 unfortunately) and played probably 100 different guitars. As soon as this one got into my hands I knew it was what I wanted. The action is really smooth, picking/palm muting very lax, and the guitar is just really easy to play. The clean tone on the neck pick up was fantastic, middle pickup is pretty nice. As far as the bridge pickup goes, it wasn't too bad. But I did replace it with a Dimarzio D-Sonic humbucker. This guitar definately shreds now. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a great guitar for a great price.

This guitar caught my eye at my local music shop and I just picked it up today. The body work is one of the most beautiful that I have ever seen! The neck is amazing and the pick ups are above average for factory stock. A very good purchase

NIce guitar

For my entire playing life I have been a Fender guy, then within the last 5 yrs. a PRS guy. I had some time yesterday, stopped into my local and picked up one of these as a lark.

I was impressed with the neck first and foremost. I am used to guitars that fight back a bit to get what you want. This guitar played easier than my McCarty, yet sounded very similar to a really good classic strat tone.

It was almost too touchy and fast and it took a while to adjust to they feel of it. However, it is a quality instrument, it looks good, the pots are ultra sensitive to changes, the Whammy is very sensitive, and the overall guitar spoke quality.

I am not now nor ever have been an Ibanez player, yet I would consider this as my first.

I've owned this guitar for a little over a year and I have to say what an amazing instrument. I switched the stock pickups with dimarzio d-activator pups and this guitar squeels like a demon. Even when I have it plugged into my little 15 watt crate amp this thing still sounds amazing with the right pedal. I got mine used from my local music store and its a dark teal blue almost, and I think it may be a 2003 model but hey, this guitar still is amazing. I recommend this guitar to anybody. Great job Ibanez.

I've only owned this a week and its probably the best playing guitar I've ever owned. It came perfectly set up, low action, pu's adjusted perfectly. The neck is very fast and feels fantastic. The finnish is to die for (lavender burst)The hardware is very nice, the tremelo is perfect. As soon as I got it I installed strap locks and a new set of strings ~ now this baby really wails. I had a tough time keeping it in tune at first and I blamed it on the tuners, I was going to replace them ASAP with locking tuners but replaced the strings and she settled right down and has'nt gone out of tune at all. This guitar is very light and comfortable and is a great sounding instrument. I've played alot of guitars in the last 45 years and this is #1. My friend brought over his new strat and this thing ate it up up!! Way to go Ibanez!!
