I've owned one for about six months.This guitar rocks!The complaints I have are minor.The pickups sound great but are a little "noisy."The flame maple top is veneer.The good build quality is obvious and the 5 piece maple- walnut combination neck is nicely finished and plays fast.I mosly own flying Vs and got this to play sitting down.I love to solo on this

I love this guitar. I have owned previous Ibanez's and ESP's, but nothing compares to the quality craftsmanship for the low price that I got it for. The stock pickups are a little to be desired, so I installed EMG 81\60, now the thing roars. The other thing is the Edge 3 tremelo is not as I had hoped it would be, so I put a block in it to keep it from pitching high (only divebombs). Other than that.....buy this axe!!

This guitar is A-mazing! The finish is beautiful, and the playability and sound are excellent! The INF1 and INF2 pickups are great sounding stock pup's. The EDGEIII trem is awesome! Divebomb... back into tune! Great quality, great price... You will be very happy with this purchase! And the price...AWESOME, as if you didnt know!!

I was actually trying out an amp when I played this guitar but I really liked the guitar. Even though it's a maple neck through a mahogany body, it's not too heavy. The finish is almost beautiful. The inlay is actually cool when you look at it closely. The tremolo stays in tune and is flat on the body. The pickups aren't bad but I would eventually replace them with EMG 81's. Fast neck, but I would have put in ebony instead of cheap rosewood. Nice guitar, try it.

The biggest thing I look for in a guitar is the quality of the nonreplacable/or hard to replace parts. That's where this guitar shines. Flawless finish and construction, comfortable neck through design. Just a couple days after purchase, I realized the need for new pickups though...the stock ones just didn't have the power to cut through the mahogany in the body, and this is the reason I gave it a 4 for quality. Replaced the pickups with a Dimarzio PAF Joe in the neck, and a Dimarzio Mo'Joe in the bridge and it's now nearly perfect. After adding these pickups, the sound is amazing.
