I bought the Ibanez RG370DXGP3 which is the same guitar just with a cooler digital camo finish that for some crazy reason musicians friend stopped selling but if you go to Ibanez.com you can see the guitar. It's the best guitar of it's type it sounds great with the neck humbucker, the neck split or the middle single coil but the brige selections dont do it for me still I just dont use them the neck is awesome and plays realy fast also the guitar is LIGHT it ways like 6 pounds or somthing like that the edge is great the only problem I have is the tremolo bar just falls out beacase the music store I purcased this guitar from didn't put the screw in. The tone on this guitar is amazing it can do anything from RHCP to Slipknot and sound perfect. I giged twice with this guitar and it has not had any problems. This guitar is totaly worth the price.

the pickups are kind of bad but the guitar is light weight. i would recommend it for younger users.

I have had this guitar for about 3 years. There are absolutely no problems with its construction or sound. It's been through hell and back and only with a couple scratches that come with being a musician. 2 years after I got this guitar, I bought another guitar for aroun 900 dollars and all I can say is I wanna get rid of the 900 dollar guitar. The Rg370dx is definately better than a lot of guitars out there and it is sadly underappreciated. And it's cheap to add to that soooooo buy it if u get the chance.

This is a great guitar. The frets pinch your hand when you run up and down the neck right out of the box. However, I took it to my local luthier and had him file the sides of the frets, oil the fretboard and set it up in drop C nice and tight and the guitar sounds and plays like a Prestige model. I gave it a 4.5 out of 5.0 in quality because of the aforementioned frets and because the middle pickup is a little bland sounding. I use the bridge pickup the most, and the neck pickup occasionally for a lead in one of my songs and those two pickups sound great. Overall, with a setup, fret filing, and fingerboard oil, this is one heck of a guitar...and it stays in tune!!! I divebomb on the whammy bar for fun and have no problems. Great buy!

Great guitar. For the money I doubt you could do any better on a brand new axe. The pickups sound awesome with any of positions set, the neck is fast and smooth, and aesthetically, it's perfect. Classic strat kind of shape with a bit more of an edge to it, I love it.
The build quality is fantastic, and the trem is great once you figure out what you're doing, it stays in tune for an insane amount of time. very reliable for gigs and whatnot, and the sustain is surprisingly good for a bolt-on neck.
