The Ibanez RG350DX electric guitar has a double-locking Edge III trem system that allows radical effects and sonic chaos with total tuning stability. 24-frets, thin 3-piece Wizard II neck for fast and effortless shredding. Total tonal choice is provided 5-way switching of an Ibanez Infinity 4 bridge humbucker with an alnico magnet that is warm sounding with good harmonics, an Infinity 3 bridge humbucker with a ceramic magnet producing dynamic sound for rhythm chording, and an Infinity Single3 single-coil with an alnico magnet for traditional sounds with high output. Stunning sharktooth inlays complete the sinister look.

For over 2 decades, the Ibanez RG guitar has reigned as the unquestioned monarch of metal guitars. Why? Because the Ibanez RG is an electric guitar that has the perfect combination of fast, flat neck, the right pickups and pickup placement, and a precision trem system that metes out creative destruction. And because the Ibanez RG guitar has evolved and expanded along with the metal genre it was designed for.'

This is the GREATEST guitar ive ever played. the neck is amazing expectially with those jumbo frets. the pickups are awesome. The only problem ive had is the Edge III tremolo isnt as good as i would like. it stays in tune MOST of the time. but sometimes it will go out of tune. but i dump the bar and pull it up so much and it will mostly stay in tune. this was my second guitar ever and i just want to buy a billion of these because they are that good.

Long Time Coming

I've waited a long time to write this review, because the relationship with this instrument has been with a rough start. I've had the guitar five months now, and I bought it used (though, it was brand new).

It took me a month to get the tremolo set up properly. As a tech-in-training, I refused to take it in to the shop which might be the reason who it took a while, but I eventually did get it properly set up, and the thing barely goes out of tune.

Been a long Ibanez user, though this is my first mid-level RG series, and it's fantastic. The stock pickups are good, but I do plan to change them over time. They're punchy and have a creamy metal tone, and a very sparkling clean. Not that great with mid-level overdrives, and they feel a little light in volume output, but that's not a big deal.

The neck is perfect. I adore Ibanez's necks, and the Wizard II is no exception. It's fast, remarkably so, and almost too straight. I've tossed it around a little, and everything is in perfect order since I set it up. The body is quite the same, light-wieght, moves with me and the white is a perfect color, accented only by the amazing pearl-esque pickguard. Perfect.

My biggest qualm (and it's a recurring problem with all Ibanez mid-level guitars) is the input jack, which needs to be tightened quite a bit to be stable, but that's an easy fix.

I love Ibanez, and this guitar is no exception. Started off as a bit of a headache, but became a very valued and gig-worthy friend.

Ok this is my first guitar and i love it. A thin neck makes it really easy to shred and the Edge 3 actually stays in tune. I only need to tune it maybe once every 2 or so weeks. Contrary to what people thin the pickups are pretty good for a beginner who just wants to have fun. ITS GREAT BUY IT!!!1!

One Awesome Axe!!!

My Ibanez RG350DX is my first 'real' guitar (an upgrade from my searscaster) and i am simply blown away by it. It's tone is a major improvement for me. The Edge III bridge is really cool too (low profile and it stays in tune). However, where it really shines is the neck. It's so thin and fast and the inlay rocks. I can shred so much easier on this axe. Compared to my friend's Jackson DKMG, however, this guitar doesn't sound as good, probably due to it's crap pickups. I'm thinking of putting some dimarzio's or EMG's in. Other than that, this is one rock-solid guitar. It's probably the best bang-for-buck out there. Buy it!

Great Guitar

This was my second guitar, the clean channel is great, the backup with distortion is great, the lead is ok. It has a fairly skinny neck and is very easy to play. It has 24 frets which is great, so I can play "Beat It" now! It stays in tune well I only have to tune it every two weeks or so, but tuning is a pain when you have to do it. I don't use tremolo bars much, but this one's seems to work well. Great look, beautiful guitar. Finish doesn't scratch or smudge. Buy it!
