Great Guitar

This is a great guitar! The playability is amazing, i've played more expensive model guitars that don't have necks nearly as flat, smooth, and shredding fast as this does. The INF3 and 4 pups that Ibanez has in this RG are the same that they're putting in many of their more expensive guitars. The white finish is great and the guitar is tough, really tough. I've banged it around in my room and you'd never be able to tell. The trem can be a little difficult to maintain, but it sounds great too, you just gotta know what you're doing when you adjust it. If you want a professional quality guitar for an amazing price, the RG120 is the guitar for you

I got this guitar today as a christmas gift and it is pretty good. If you have played another guitar before this one and you really liked it but wanted something cooler or better, this guitar may take a bit of getting used to. It only took me about twenty minutes to get used to. On my old guitar (a semi hollow body awd83 ibanez) the strings were perfectly in tune and the chords sounded great. When i tuned the new guitar to be perfectly in tune with the other one and played an A chord, a D chord and an E chord, they sounded out of tune but i checked and they were in tune. This kept on only for about ten minutes and then the chords were clean and good sounding. This mainly occurs when playing on distortion setting. The only thing i don't like about the guitar itself, is how close the high E string is to the end of the neck. When I pull off, say, from the 16th to the 14th to the 12th, the high E string often will slide off the neck. This is not a major problem. It looks really cool (I like/own the red one) and will most likely satisfy whoever plays it. It's got a whammy bar and 24 frets. I think it is worth more than it is priced. I have been playing for about two years and mainly like hard rock and heavy metal (my two favorite bands are AC/DC and System of a Down) but i basically like all rock n roll. This guitar is good for all genres...it is good on clean setting to "insane" (some amplifiers have). All in all, this is a good guitar and IS recommended for players of all levels.

I got this guitar as a birthday present about 2 years ago, and i loved it. Don't get me wrong I still love it, the pickups are nice and versitile, the neck is slim and fast, and i really like the way it looks. But the only things i dont like on it is how touchy the tremelo is and that if you play a note passed the 12th fret on the lowest string its completely dead. The guitar is great because its from ibanez and its CHEAP! If your going to get it look into the white because the pickups look nicer and the tremelo looks better too.

Great guitar for beginners. I thought it was a good guitar for the price. Humbuckers sounds okay, fast neck, doesn't really get out of tune( well mine doesn't) also i like how its 24 frets. However, i am having lots of fret buzzes and it's kind of hard to get rid of them since the action is very low.
But it's okay i guess. You can't go wrong with Ibanez Guitars since they produce well made guitars.

Not Too Shabby

out of the 4 guitars i own, this is the cheapest, but not in a bad way. i use this guitar as a hard tail. the trem rests against the body. and i have it tuned to C# for my sludgy Black Sabbath tones which this guitar is perfect for. the tuners are cheap, the neck where it meets the headstock is fragile (dont drop it!) DUHH. you can see where it is glued together. it has a really bassy tone. tall frets. a thin flat neck, and a real cool looking strat type body on steroids. you can also set up a fairly low action on the string without a bunch of fret buzz. if you dont have hundreds to spend but want a guitar to play along with Sabbaths Master Of Reality or Volume 4 this will do just fine. but i dont reccomend a floating trem setup with this unless you have alot of batteries for your wireless tuner.
