out of the 4 guitars i own, this is the cheapest, but not in a bad way. i use this guitar as a hard tail. the trem rests against the body. and i have it tuned to C# for my sludgy Black Sabbath tones which this guitar is perfect for. the tuners are cheap, the neck where it meets the headstock is fragile (dont drop it!) DUHH. you can see where it is glued together. it has a really bassy tone. tall frets. a thin flat neck, and a real cool looking strat type body on steroids. you can also set up a fairly low action on the string without a bunch of fret buzz. if you dont have hundreds to spend but want a guitar to play along with Sabbaths Master Of Reality or Volume 4 this will do just fine. but i dont reccomend a floating trem setup with this unless you have alot of batteries for your wireless tuner.

This guitar plays far better than its price suggests. It's comfortable, dependable, and fun to play. I have U.S. made guitars (Gibson, Fender) but this one is threatening to take over as my main guitar.

This is a great guitar i have used my friends black one but, one thing i noticed is the picture of the white RG120 has a different bridge. Now i have bean thinking about buying one of these guitars but I dont know if its the same bridge or if its copletely different. HELP!

I had been playing an acoustic guitar for about a year or more, and i finally got an electric one day. I went to the guitar center, but none of the guitars were really suiting my style, and most had a so-so sort of sound. But i picked up the RG 120, and it had better tone on a Fender Frontman 10 watt than all the others i tried (including Fender bullet strats, epiphone lp100, even some custom epiphones). Good pickups, fast action, a little wider neck than Strats. The only problem i had after buying this guitar was that the strings got out of tune within 3-5 days. Replace the tuners, and you've got a pretty nice and cheap guitar.

Man I have owned more expensive Steinbergers, Burns, Fenders, and this RG120 sounds better and plays better I swear by my soul !! The fretboard is a real guitar players fretboard. For the money I would take two though I am low on the dough...It would be an insult to call this a "starter guitar" I am an old pro and now this is my main axe !!
