Don't Waste Your Time

Purchased guitar and right out of the box the acoustic pickup did not work. Sent back for repair and got it back and acoustic pickup still did not work, in fact had additional problems with input jack. Ended up getting money back on the guitar and looking for something else. Loved the features that the guitar had and how it played but the electronics need some serious overhauling from Ibanez. Repair guy said he had four of the same guitar returned just that week.

Bought the guitar brand new. Unpacked and started to play and the acoustic pickup did not work. Tried replacing the 4 batteries and the pickup still did not work. Ended up shipping it back and waiting for it to be repaired or replaced. I am now concerned about the quality of the product. I really did like the way it played right out of the box but couldn't believe that the acoustic pickup did not work. Don't they check those before they ship from the factory? Really did like the way the electric pickup sounded and I can't wait for it to get back to me with the acoustic pickup fixed. I do like the way that it looks and the additional onboard electronics are a plus. I currently run through a Marshall Amp to play through a PA but with this guitar I probably won't need the amp.

I 've had mine for about 5 months and I love it. The sound was not expected to be good unless plugged in but I was pleasantly surprised. I have always played acoustic and this guitar added the electric sound and I am very happy.

I have the KOA model and it is the most beautiful guitar I own (have 16). The hybrid cutouts are eye appealing I think. The first three high strings (listed as D'Addario EXP's) give a muddled tone and are stiff but will change out with D'Addario EJ17's which I prefer soon. The electronics are fun and easy to play with but practicality I question. Love the chorus but the reverb a seems a bit weak. Sounds pretty good without an amp but exspected without a center sound hole. But there is still the first three strings sound issue. Have had this one about a week.
