This guitar is the one. I've have American made Fender Strat, Peavey Wolfgangs, new EVH Fender custom shop Wolfgangs, Jackson DK1. All excellent guitars. But this is the one I come back to. The neck is faster than anything I've played or own. The versatility is absolutely crazy. From blues, to jazz, to Van Halen to Metallica. Everything about this guitar is exceptional. You cannot go wrong with this purchase. And considering the price, the value is excellent. 3000 for EVH, 1800 for Jackson DK1, this guitar is a steal!

I am not much of a guitar player and have only learned by watching guitar instruction DVDs. My main instrument is a studio full of synthesizers. For the past couple of years I have been learning on a Mexican made Fender fat strat. I like the guitar but it always felt too big for my hands in the neck and I had difficulty reaching notes for many chords. It was also kind of noisy and made a lot of hum. So, as a birthday present to myself I decided to try a completely different guitar type and I bought a JS 1200. All I can say is I am in love. It feels so much better than the fender strat and reaching chords is now easy. The JS 1200 just feels perfect as it was custom made to fit my hands and fingers. For sound, it is amazing. I hate how noisy my fender is but the JS 1200 is so quiet. No hum at all. And of course the sound quality is beyond belief. I thought I had made a dumb mistake by spending so much for a guitar because I suck at playing, but now I feel that I made one of the best investments of my life. All I can say is buy one. A JS 1200 is the feeling and sound of guitar perfection.

I bought this guitar months ago, I have been playing thru a Peavey JSX edition 2x12 and thru my POD 2.0 while at my workstation.

The flexible settings via the push/pull electronics and the pickup selector is really fun. Want a shred tone? Want a Fender blues tone? Want a clear clean tone? Anything in between? This guitar will do it. Solid construction, very playable, high quality. Great feel, sustain and tone, everything a serious player wants in a signature instrument. I am VERY happy with this purchase. Pricey, a bit, yes, but the price has not hampered my total glee over this instrument. *****
