This is my first guitar, and I have played many, But I love this guitar. It's lightweight and playability are far above par. It has been great beginner guitar and I highly recommend it to any beginner.

I've played guitar for many years, so when my oldest 2 kids decided they wanted guitars for Christmas I bought them one each. I opened them as soon as they arrived and was very impressed by the quality of such an inexpensive guitar. The binding is tight and smooth, the neck is comfortable and it is very light weight...perfect for a youth guitar...I HIGHLY recommend this one

i got this guitar about 4 months ago and was pretty happy with it. the only thing wrong with it was that the action was pretty high for my taste. i have 3 other guitars but this one isnt the best. if your looking for a pressent for someone i would deffinatly get this guitar.

I was given this bundle as a gift back in 2003, though this is the same package in essence the guitar I received was a V50JP model and if this current model is of the same quality... I would highly recommend it for a beginner. It's been nothing but good to me thru the years even though I practically ruined the back, split the rear a bit, with plenty of dings, dents, and scratches. She's received numerous complements for her sound though it could be her age that's added to this(that, quality strings, and my years of playing experience), but maybe it's just the byproduct of Ibanez making a fine acoustic guitar...

I bought this guitar about a year agobecause it was so cheap, and at first I loved it. The sound was great. I couldn't put it down, but that's normal for me with any new guitar. But after I got over my obsession with it, I started to realize that the action wasn't that great. It was much more difficult to hold down the strings than on an average acoustic guitar. I guess it's okay for beginners, but if you're looking for a quality guitar with good playability, it's well worth the extra few hundred bucks for a better guitar.
