I bought this guitar as a first, not really knowing much about it. First of all, I can get a pretty good range of sounds since its got a humbucker which is pretty powerful. I can get some great heavy tones with the humbucker but still get some great lighter tones with the single pickups. Very fast neck, and comfortable since the back is cut out, not just flat. I don't really use the trem at all, so I can't comment on that. The only problem I have is that the action isn't very good at all. The low e string buzzes a lot, and the lowest frets on the highest three strings buzz a lot too. Other than that it's a great bass which can cover lots of tones, and is great for any beginner.

this is a great project guitar. replace the pickups, the knobs, and the tuning machine heads. what you get is a fast neck and a sharp looking body. i put a seymor duncan invader in the bridge and get a great beastly tone.

well i actually bought this guitar because the grx20 was sold out. but i definetly prefer this model. it has a nice, smooth neck, very little feedback( if any), and a tremelo w/ 5-way. its an amazing guitar, so amazing i sold my worlock and am planning to upgrade to an rg. the only flaw with it is the sustain. it could be longer, but it does have good sustain dont get me wrong. i would definetly get this if ur lookin for an all around good guitar for the price.

My favorite guitar

This was the first electric guitar I ever bought and 10 years later, is still my favorite. It has an even, clean sound (not too much high, not too much low) and warm tone when played with distortion. More recently I've compared it to some Fender and Gibson guitars, but I can't seem to find the same kind of clarity in either. Talk about durability, one time in highschool my band was practicing in our basement and I tried throwing the GSA60 over my shoulder; it went straight into a low hanging pipe as the strap flew off and it crashed to the ground... not a scratch on the thing. I couldn't believe it. Not to mention this thing has had flawless action and a completely straight neck throughout the years. Never had to make a repair other than replacing the springs for the tremelo. Hands down, I love this guitar and will never traid it in. It's my first guitar, it will be my last guitar.
