Even though Ive had this guitar since only a week after hurricane IKE....I've gotta say, its not a bad guitar if youre learning metal/hard rock. The neck doesnt have that glossy finish, so its fast for those licks & the body has a decent feel, the only thing I see that needs some improvement is the pick-ups, because once you actually start getting down metal/ hard rock and want to get advanced, the pick-ups don't really give that "sound" you would hear in metal/hard rock, so would might wanna upgrade pick-ups. But overall, its the best type of guitar you could get that cheap and in that decent quality.

I just pulled this out of the box today, and I must say...Impressive. But remember this is an entry level only guitar. Slight fret buzz-possibly due to junk strings from factory. Hardware seems very durable and the finish is excellent. Overall an excellent entry level instrument

Well, this was my second guitar, after getting an Epiphone G400L. I really only had two options, this or a Les Paul Special II. Obvious choice. Anyway, what really attracted me was the tremolo system. As the noob I was, I was attracted to the tremolo, but after some time, I realized that it didn't matter so much. All in all, the guitar sounds decent, but it's pretty muddy, because of the agathis body. The neck is nice, fast, and doesn't feel sticky like necks with gloss finish and paint do. Overall, if you're a beginner, or looking for a cheap axe that can handle good distortion, this is a great guitar.

As my first actual left-handed guitar, this is serving me well. I purchased it with the intention of just owning a guitar that is lefthanded, rather than one that sounded good, and got more than I expected. The pickups were a lot more mid ranged than I was looking for, and it's more of a lead guitar sound than a rythm. So, all together a good buy, but not more than it's worth.

This guitar is very good IF YOU ARE BUYING YOUR FIRST GUITAR. It is good to start off. The neck is pretty comfortable and the pickups sound good. If you are planning to get this as your first guitar and keep it for a long time, DONT DO IT. You will definitely get sick of it because it loses tuning if you look at it funny and the frets are small, making it hard to play much of anything that is fast. Save up and buy something better. If you ignore my review and buy this anyways, DONT USE THE WHAMMY BAR. This tremolo makes the guitar go out of tune CRAZY FAST. I would reccomend just taking it off and never using it
