I've had many guitars over the years and paid an arm and a leg for some of them. For the price, you can beat this guitar. You're not getting tremelo, 24 frets, coil tapping, a center pickup, or any extras. You do get a solid guitar that plays very well, looks nice, and stays in tune. Set neck and Gibralter bridge make this thing solid. The carved top was a nice touch. The pickups don't sound bad, but they weren't enough for me. I replaced the bridge with a Seymour Duncan SH-5 and the neck with a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates and this thing is a versitle beast now. I play in a cover band that does a little of everything and this axe does well whether I'm playing Godsmack, The Beatles, Judas Priest, or Aerosmith (with the right effects patches and amp settings of course). I love this so much I play it as my primary guitar, even over my Jem!

This guitar is beast. I have had it since May. I play through a Fender Stage 160. It doesn't sound all that good through it. At band practice, I play through my friends Randall head, and it is AMAZING, better than his Schecter C-1+. It feels great, it plays great. It stays in tune. The finish is pretty! The only thing I wish was there, were 3,5,7 etc, fret board dots, but that is really nothing to complain about. Also, I wish I had gotten this in Black, or cherry, or even white. Don't get me wrong, the silver is VERY VERY good looking, but I personally prefer the black or white. I read the other reviews here, and the silver shows no dust or smudges or anything, though they are still there.

Yep...my third Ibanez.'76 Deluxe 59'er. 2002 DTX Destroyer, now THIS little peach! Quiet stock pickups absolutely sing, action awesome right out of the box. Ibanez is my GO TO brand, whether gigging, recording or just shredding. I agree about the finish (mine is the cherry)showing every bit of dust...but the styling, binding, fit and attention to detail make this a proud addition to my stable. Love it to death!

I played this guitar at my local music store, and let me just say: it is an amazing guitar for a great price. It has nice humbuckers that will give you almost any sound that you desire to play. The neck fit my hands perfectly. If you are looking for a great guitar with a nice finish and a low price, this is the guitar for you!!! You will not regret this buy.

the only thing i can think of that isn't 100% awesome is the pickups .. i don't think you have the need to switch them out cuz they are awesome nonetheless. hardware, tuners, wiring, anything is just awesome. this guitar is meant for anything!! another bad thing is that it's a dust and finger print attracter. just get a microfiber cloth and you should be fine. GET THIS GUITAR
