The first single-cutaway Artist in 30 years, the Ibanez ART2100 Artist is an affordable, old-school-style solidbody with top-of-the-bill features. The contoured mahogany body has a mahogany set neck for excellent resonance. The Artcore ACH1-S and ACH2-S humbuckers filter out interference from electrical sources while using ceramic magnets to pump out all the crunch and sustain you'll need to rock the house. The Gibraltar III tailpiece lets you easily adjust each string for solid intonation. The short 24-2/3" scale makes note bending a breeze on the bound rosewood fretboard with 22 medium frets. The 12th fret has a special ART inlay for a modest touch of flair.

ive had this guitar for about a year now and i decided i can give it a good review now. its a great starter guitar but very advanced musicians, i would stay away. its probably just my product, but the pickup is starting to become lose. I was planning on upgrading this year, but im just going to stick with old faithfull here :)

This is an awesome guitar. I have been playing for 2 years and this was my first one. I love it. I am playing it through a little Peavey Vypyr 15, but this guitar shreds. I highly recommend it.

Right out of the box this thing sounded great. I did need to adjust everything but this is normal with all manufacturers bought on line. The neck is very clean too. Only mod was the addition of a 2 band EQ with a volume that really works. I ahve played all the other LP's and I don't think you'll find a better one.

Great deal on a guitar with qualities I would expect to pay twice as much for. Neck shape is great for a guy like me who usually plays a strat. Great tones. See thru cherry looks great close up. I never thought I could get such classic LP sounds from an Ibanez.

I've had many guitars over the years and paid an arm and a leg for some of them. For the price, you can beat this guitar. You're not getting tremelo, 24 frets, coil tapping, a center pickup, or any extras. You do get a solid guitar that plays very well, looks nice, and stays in tune. Set neck and Gibralter bridge make this thing solid. The carved top was a nice touch. The pickups don't sound bad, but they weren't enough for me. I replaced the bridge with a Seymour Duncan SH-5 and the neck with a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates and this thing is a versitle beast now. I play in a cover band that does a little of everything and this axe does well whether I'm playing Godsmack, The Beatles, Judas Priest, or Aerosmith (with the right effects patches and amp settings of course). I love this so much I play it as my primary guitar, even over my Jem!
