Incredible for the Price

I now have owned mine for about 2 months. Did a simple setup and began to play. Something didn't sound right. I looked closer and saw some packing material under the bridge that I had to remove. Took it out and wow! Creamy tone on my Fender 65R amp. I pick fingerstyle and I must say this neck is really comfortable. I like it better than my Epiphone Dot and my Oscar Schmidt OE-30, my Fender Strat, my Fender Acoustic Electric or the Gretsch I tried out at our local Music Store. Buy it, you will like it.

Great Guitar for the Money

This is a great guitar for the money. I have had my AF75 Ibenez for a few weeks now and I love it. It is hard to imagine owning a great sounding and good looking hollow-body guitar for such a low price. I have played several other brands of hollow-body guitars such as Gretch and Gibson. For the money I paid, my Ibenez AF75 hangs right in threre with the best of them. The pickups sound good clean or distorted, and I haven't had a problem with feed back either. The one down side is that the guiter may not stay in tune long enough for a full show or a practice session, so I have to tune it more often. I don't mind it though, it is a great guitar for the money and, I am very pleased with my AF75.

This is a great and affordable guitar! Its tone and sound quality are amazing as it can deliver both smooth jazz sounds and punchy rock riffs. If you can’t afford a Gibson hollow body this is the next best thing.

Nice but not the pictured tailpiece

This is a fun guitar. It sounds great, plays great and looks great. The transparent orange finish is fantastic. My only complaint is that the tailpiece shown in the website picture is not the one you get. As you may know Ibanez has "upgraded" to a different tailpiece design. I feel that the new tailpiece does not match the guitar. I did complain to Musicians Friend but I think their hands are tied but just the same the pictured guitar is not what you get. I found the "old" AF 75 tailpiece on ebay and swapped it out. For the great price I paid for the guitar it was worth the extra few bucks to get what I wanted. For those who like the new tailpiece, enjoy!

it just feels good

Very nice guitar. I have been playing guitar over 40 years now, only as a hobby, but in that length of time you do get some chops. I was a drummer all through school and played the beer joints and dance halls on the upper Texas coast for a few years, but guitar is just for fun.

I have had my AF 75 red sunburst for almost a year now. I am at a point where I prefer to sit down when I play and this guitar is well suited for that. The fit and finish are excellent. The tone is good. From mellow and rich to blasting I am pleased with it. The action was good right off the rack, it just feels good to hold and play.

Try not to stand in front of your amp when you're really crankin', it will feed back.

I also have a '63 Gibson Melody Maker, an Epiphone Skunk Baxter dreadnought, and an SG bass. This Ibanez is my number one.
