This is a very versatile instrument that has never let me down and has withstood the beating that it gets on the road without suffering any real retriment.

This guitar would be ok for the pro or beginner that wants a well built instrument.

First question, who makes and has started and has the most experience with 7-strings?.... Nuf said!!! The day I got it I wore the strings out. It plays comfortably standing up or sitting down. The stock pickups are a bit of a down fall, but active EMGs are my future plan. This guitar without a question is great for the money, and plays like a much more pricey axe. I highly recommend it.

i got this guitar about 3 years ago, and im still pretty happy with it. its got a mahogany body and maple neck, and it sounds great. the tone sounds good clean and distorted, and the sustain is great. the neck is heavier and tends to slide down, but i don't really mind. i incorporate the "over-the-neck" style in some of the songs i write, so the ease of lowering the neck makes it easier to accomplish this. it stays in tune pretty well. the only problem is the input jack. it tends to come loose, so it needs tightening every few months. but thats not that big of a problem. i highly recommend this guitar if your looking to add a seventh string to your arsenal.

I've owned this guitar for about 5 years now and I have no complaints about it despite the few bad reviews. This thing sounds great through every amp I have and it works great for almost any style of music. I used this guitar with a touring metal band and I never had any problems with loose screws or staying in tune. I would recomend getting a leather strap because the neck is so heavy that anything else will let the guitar slide down if you let go.

Great Guitar

This is a great guitar with great tone and playability. When I got it there were some loose nuts and bolts, but fortunately I know how to use a wrench and screwdriver. The nuts on the tuners were loose, explaining the tuning problems that others have mentioned. After I tightened them the tuning was locked as solid as any guitar I've ever played. It is neck heavy, to make it more comfortable I simply put a small pocket on my strap near the tail end and put a one pound lead shot weight into it. Viola, perfect balance.
